Stupid person on pointless forum makes stupid comment! To be expected. |

| Did you notice in Mr Brent Herald that none of the correspondence printed in the paper who were complaining about the park and pay did not mention the real reason behind the ideal, it is Mr Brent needs it to sell his own car-park |

| Here's a more stupid comment but I am coming around to the idea. The only way I can see this working is if there is free parking for Season Ticket holders only and POTDers will pay the maximum amount. This will ensure that only the select few stand to gain free parking but there will only be room in the stadium for a few anyway. Of course this is yet another very large nail in the Argyle ambition coffin, but what the hell. |

What Argyle fans will pay or not is incidental. The car park is primarily for park & ride users. I haven't read anything to suggest that the car park fee will take the place of the bus fare, that could work, but not charging for both which is is an absurd suggestion . If it happened I would think First group would pull out before long due to lack of users. They would surely be very vocal on the proposal.
Common sense & hopefully the propriety of PCC should ensure this ludicrous suggestion comes to nothing.

| The words common sense and PCC should never be used in the same sentence. |

| Watching a programme called Restoring Britain's Heritage - lovely bit about the Palace Theatre and then - surprise, surprise - Oldway Mansion. Another asset stripping exercise for Brent - and not sure that Torbay's council were as willing to roll over (or bend over) as Tudor and his bunch of merry men. |

I've just watched that! very interesting, looks to me like oldway is another jimmy pipe dream, he's usually not shy to step in front of the camera, but our hero was nowhere to be seen! |

More weight to the theory that he hasn't got a pot to piss in. |

| Nice architect tho! But seriously - it seems to me that Speccy may have wanted to build a load of Wimpey monstrosities in the grounds. Hope that Torbay have not capitulated too much because Oldway is too gorgeous for words. What Brent and his bunch of amateurs could do to it makes me shudder |

| Oldway mansion is an extremely touchy subject with the local council at the moment.
I hear that questions are being asked and the council don't like having to take the flak for the inactivity.
If anyone is local and feels strongly enough about it then a visit or email to your local councillor might be warranted? |

| My point was Jamers, that public transport is fine when it's done right, and from what I've seen when in London is that it's all laid on well. However, I'm not sure, that you have any idea of what public transport is like in Plymouth (I usually give you a lift as an example). People in Plymouth, have a real problem in the outlying districts in getting in and back, and this is NOT going to help. As for 'dividing', I and I reckon most others don't care whose policy it is, if it's a bad one, it's just that. What drives me mad about politics, is people saying 'It's the Tory policy' etc. P&R is a great idea, but not when you have to pay full whack for the bus, and now possibly, £1.00 or £2.00 for the right to park in Coypool, Ivybridge, Home Park or Derriford. It's stupid and not part of the original idea. When you have to work in Plymouth, day in and day out, come back and let's have your opinion, but when you have the tube, buses ever 5 minutes from 0700 until midnight, to get your from Ealing to Leicester Square, how can you possibly comment?Leave it out Guv'. A free retail unit to whoever guesses correctly who said this? |
