That Rob Walker interviewing him is one of the biggest tw@s to have ever been handed a microphone. He excitement level and enthusiasm is ridiculous. Shaking Ben Ainslie like his long lost brother who was looking like he wanted to tell him to feck off.

He looks like a chuckle brother and usually tries, without any success, to whip up excitement for snooker audiences.

I really wish Ben Aislie had punched him.

Another silver and bronze in the gymnastics, Smith had the same mark as the winner but lost on execution of the routine or something?

Come on now Murray, finish Federer off.

Federer duly dispatched. Gold for Murray - and him and Laura Robson have the mixed doubles final later - what a win.

If Murray pulls off the mixed doubles I'm prepared to forget that he's a Scott when he picks up the gold!

Sorry Jock lol!

There's more chanting and noise on Centre Court at Wimbledon right now than there's been at any of the GB football matches. Weird.

Andy Murray, he really doesn't get it does he?

He wins gold...magnificently.

He then loses valiantly with Laura Robson in the mixed doubles. Interviewed afterwards he was down and commented on some lost points by young Laura Robson. she was obviously thankful for the chance but he should have praised her and not just thought about himself.

British one minute, dour Scot the next.

well done Laura Robson

It's not about being a dour Scot for me, it's about a fundamental lack of emotional intelligence.

He's undoubtedly hugely talented, but he's also the spit of a Harry Potter dementor, sucking the life out of any upbeat spirit around him.

I hope his crass lack of grace doesn't damage his playing partner forever.

Just watched the medal ceremony for the 400m hurdles. The winner, Felix Sanchez, cried his eyes out. Nice to see that it meant so much to him (compared to that prick Murray).

19th Gold in Triathlon (with the winner's brother getting a Bronze)

More cycling to come so we could beat Beijing's total of 19 Golds.
