| The only way my match day "experience" would be enjoyable is if we win. Perhaps it is a 'first in football' way of finding us a new strikeforce. |

| Yes it will be nice to be trained (and qualified) and to be able to tell, politely of course, some oafish Sunderland/Millwall skinhead type, to sit down please sir so others can see the match.
Just check where the medics are first matey before you risk life and limb. |

| Crowd Care Assistants.
Words fail me.
I wish, for once, just for once, that this football club would concentrate on......football. |

| I'd much prefer it if they advertised for decent players to improve the match day experience.I expect you meant that.Honestly you couldn't make this up could you? |

| Just a controversial thought here having read the article. Every club basically has to have Stewards. It sounds, and I could be wrong, that Argyle are looking to recruit their own presumably rather than hire them in from an Agency so it would be cheaper. Given that they have to have them what is wrong with this then? Is it because they are calling them something different because if that is all the gripe is about then the title of the job is just semantics. All Stewards have to be trained because it is basically law and I would imagine the training is pretty universal to the same qualification as quoted. There is so much else wrong at Argyle at the moment so is this one worth a moan? |

| I actually agree with that Senso...as long as they're paid positions I don't really care what they're called. If Argyle want to dress it up as something else then that's up to them. |

| Yes it is SG.It just illustrates the kind of management psychobabble that infects the whole matchday experience and as has been pointed out ad nauseum (I've said it to Brenty face to face) the only enhancement to the match day experience the ordinary punter wants is a winning team. If they want to recruit their own stewards, then that's what they are not feckin "crowd care assistants". FFS. |

| So it's not the actual job it IS the job title then. I don't see how the recruitment of Stewards or not would enhance the football as neither is connected. As said previously as far as I know you have to have them. We would all like a winning team but none of the Stewards play. Does anyone think the current lot do any sort of job anyway so also what is wrong with your own and cheaper. I just cannot see the harm here even if the job has a poncy title nobody will use anyway. |

there is a difference between the two jobs one is by law (stewards) and the other is basically a Olympic volunteer rip off ( customer crowd care assistant)

Who knows? And that is the bloody problem. Nobody knows what a crowd care assistant is? Is it a steward or not. Do you get paid or not. Etc Etc... It's just another piss poor announcement that is thoroughly vague. Same old Argo... |

| So the complaint is that nobody is sure what the job is then. Is it paid, is it a Steward by another name, is it a rip off. Bleddy Argo tut tut, I see what you mean now. |

I try hard - I really do - not to get into "Nowadays " mode. But, having mostly resisted finding the phrase "the match-day experience" cringeworthy, I just find the "crowd-care assistants" (or whatever it bloody is) so far over the top that it hardly bears considering. It's just so marketing-speak and so from people who really don't get football that I despair. Soon they will be enforcing a dress-code and stopping any singing that is outside the approved songs. There will be staff in Argyle uniform thanking us as we leave the ground and telling us to 'have a nice day'. Any taunting of the opposition will be punishable by ejection. There will be a rota for all season-ticket holders members to sweep their part of the ground each week. And there will be a club anthem in praise of the owner sung as the teams come out that will replace Semper fidelis. |

| Crowd care assistants were volunteers at the last Olympics, they were paid diddly squat. This current ad fails to mention wages hours etc.In some security jobs you have to pay for your own training to get the appropriate qualification.None of that is mentioned here so difficult to draw a conclusion. If they wanted crowd care assistants though why wait until now....ah!!!! the olympics is over there must be at least 3000 looking for a job.

| Will these crowd care assistants be dishing out punishment to anyone who decides to stick two fingers up to the Forza Crappa organised chanting and start something spontaneous? |
