Ah the old stalkerish thing from The President. He rolls that one out every now and then. Dane could only see the conversation because Chris has added him on Twitter. And Twitter, unless you want it to not be, is totally available for available for the world and it's son to read. I don't see him making the same complaints about anyone saying that what Chris has said is great or retweeting him. Some kind of double standard surely.

Delighted to see so many more ATD members are joining the Trust. Well done , Brent appears to be on the back foot and the more that join the stronger the voice. ATD is the forum that supports the work of the Trust. I'm proud to be a member of the Trust AND ATD !

The PASB has 4 trust members on it out of the 11 seats on it ( i dont count hoopers seat as he isnt on the board to represent fans only give his mates support) so the trust can still seek answers from the club via the back door so this no talking to the trust bollox has fallen flat having thought about it.

Labelling the trust as the oppostition is something i have come to expect from a champagne socialist who sold out his principles to side with a tory of all people and has done nothing but undermine the very trust he once lead. if james brent squatted down and shat out a live chicken chris would claim its a golden goose. The trust are not the oppostition they are fans representing fans and will speak up for fans with genuine concerns to try safe guard the future of the club, hold the board to account and try and prevent the club making the same mistakes as before that lead us into financial ruin and double relegation.

With chris saying oppostition it is clearly another case of #usvsthem

we all support the club and want success but its a shame some indiduals are going to great lengths to divide the fanbase.

To be slightly pedantic, I believe it is 4 Trust board members on the PASB, more than just 4 Trust members.

6 or 7 others on the PASBoard (with the exception of T Hooper and I think (?) one other) are members of the AFT but not on its board.

Quite- 'we're not dealing with the Trust, but we'll deal with the PASB which contains 10, possibly 11 members of the Trust out of 12'. Just daft and it's that kind of 'what hat are you wearing today' nonsense which makes me appreciative of the why some fans just feel like saying 'f*ck the whole thing'.

That's probably what they're hoping will happen. The more personally ambitious pasb members will toe the Brent line and as it becomes obvious that the whole thing is a waste of tiime when it comes to transparency, the trust board members and some others will leave, to be replaced by more nodding donkeys who just want to 'be someone' at Home Park. Praaaaaaper faaaaaaans.

James Brent owns the club not the fans trust.
I was going to join the ft's myself, but then Chris Webb stepped down and frankly I didn't bother after that. As far as I'm concerned that man's enthusiasm for Argyle epitomised the original ideals of the trust and then later was unbelievably criticised by those same people who patted him on the back enthusiastically for helping to save the club in the first place. Maybe he should check his back for daggers...

James Brent stepped up to the plate, into a world that he had no previous knowledge of to help the club and city, but of course he must have a hidden agenda because every businessman does, don't they?? It can't be about just a nice man wanting to save a long standing institution, no, there has to be something more sinister happening. He's name is Brent not Todd, Kagami, Gardener or Stapleton.
I think the green army should show it's continuing and consistent 'positive' support to a man who saved our club and has given us the possibility of a future. Rather than maligning the man we should be thinking about building a statue of him, we were that close to liquidation

As fans let's just get on with doing what we're good at and supporting Plymouth Argyle in as large numbers as possible and maybe then we can get back to where we were before.

You will not be able to do that by spitting venom at the Porkites or Brent, the Bunney's idea on another thread of witholding ST money is exactly the sort of thing you shouldn't be involved in, the message has to be both positive and believable yet must not appear to inpact upon the efforts, no matter how pathetic and contrived, of the current incumbents.

I'm not disagreeing with you Tis. I've been saying similar all along. But exactly .'how' we can achieve a groundswell of support for the trust is literally, the $64,000 question.
It sounds like the club/owner have realised their mistake in stating by poxy[I mean proxy] director,that they were cutting off communication with the trust, as that would be the best possible force for uniting supporters under the trust banner. They seem to be backing down, hoping the trust will stop asking questions, thus killing any mutiny .The grateful lambs can still have their gazebos to do their charity thing and will not ask any more questions.

I wonder how much the trust leadership is up for the fight for hearts and minds of the wider fanbase ? The likes of Jones, Webb and Newell won't stop their games and it would appear that Brent is indeed the puppet master.

Let's wait and see what Brents plans are to remove the controlling majority of the Trust members from the PASB so that he's just left with Hooper the pooper snooper and a few other head nodders.

How can a Fans Trust committee member also be a PASB committee member as well ....you have got to be one or the other.

You get funny looks keep changing your hat and talking to your alter ego......you should not be allowed on two committees,which obviously come from different directions.

One set up by the supporters of the club.....and the other set up by James Brent and the directors of the club.

Sounds a bit like being a double agent but without it being in secret....very strange idea.
