Unless he takes us to the next level. Getting us back to the championship and possibly beyond, I'l drop all animosity. Until then feck him I reckon he'd come back with a point to prove and will get us promoted as his way of apologising.
Although I think I'd prefer Cocko to come in. He's a new, fresh manager and has done a decent job at Rovers. Why would he leave rovers for us though thats the question. |

His appointment would, it would only take a sorry comment from holloway and most fans would drop their issue with him especially if he brings attractive winning football to the club and has up in the upper tier of the table. Managers come and go as do players and owners its only fans that stay forever. But as ive said before its unlikely he will be the next manager simply cause we arent in the championship.

Will just leave that there chaps. I'm delighted to say the least You sure you're not just being fed a story? I have told you 20% of the story I know 70% more as well. I wont put it up because you get the obsessive oaf Rickler throwing it in my face if it turns out wrong. Simon Hallett will make the overall decision of course. Suspect if he doesnt want it than he will veto but I dont think so Ignoring that Holloway would be a fantastic incoming manager add a bit of excitement about the place and sure as hell sell season tickets. Even I will make home matches on a regular basis I wont be the only one |

| Speaking at the press conference Holloway spoke about leaving Argyle and that it was one of the most difficult decisions of his life: ‘Plymouth fans are going to be hurt and feel betrayed but I’ve done the best job I can for Plymouth. I couldn’t have done any more. ‘Paul Stapleton knows how I was feeling over the last few months. He’s a fantastic man and did all he can but no matter what I did and said, our gates were getting smaller and smaller.
‘And some of the fans shocked me a few weeks ago by some of the things they said.’
After the press conference Holloway was more candid and holding his emotions in check he revealed that he had not said goodbye to the Argyle players: ‘I can’t thank Argyle enough, my biggest regret is not saying goodbye to the players. I’m sure that the team I built will go on and do the City of Plymouth proud.’
Holloway also said that his heart just wasn’t in the Argyle job over the last few months and would have felt a fraud if he stayed at Home Park.
Holloway will double his Argyle salary of £240,000 a year at Leicester with the two clubs settling on an undisclosed compensation figure.
Couldn't have done any more, heart wasn't in the job.
Is this who we really want ? |

| Holloway had pledged his loyalty to Argyle, spoke about how much he enjoyed living in the area, but that was a few days ago and today he tendered his resignation as manager of Plymouth.

| Holloway off to Leicester after walking out on Argyle
Days after he declared he was “in love” with Plymouth Argyle, Ian Holloway has dumped the club in favour of a richer suitor. Holloway resigned as manager of the Coca-Cola Championship side yesterday and will take over at Leicester City once the clubs have agreed compensation.
Still want this cnut back anyone ? |

| It's football Jethro, people say things they don't necessarily mean all the time, soundbites, appeasement of the masses and so on. |

| Aye and also what he said about the boards ambition was bang on. He then showed what he could've achieved for us with Blackpool.
Don't get me wrong I was verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry pissed off the way he left but I'd have him back. |

| Let's go left field from that list and look for someone young-ish, up and coming.
Darren Moore was unlucky to get the boot at WBA, Chris Powell similar at Charlton. I'd have either if they'd be happy to work with an Argyle budget.
Ex-players it would have to be Keith Hill, while Andy Morrison is doing really well in Wales though it could be a step-up too far. I can't see how we'd prise Coughlan (or Flynn for that matter) away from his present role, especially as it'd involve some sort of compensation package.
Mr Morecambe Bentley knows how to work on a tight budget but would have to manage a completely different set of expectations. I'm not sure he'd be the right fit at all.
Cotterill seems to have been linked every time we have had a vacancy since Sturrock Ver1.0, maybe his time has passed now.
The rest from 25/1 down are all a bit meh, whatever.

| So Cocko's record is decent:
P W D L GF GA GD Win% 27 10 10 7 33 27 +6 37.04
I think if asked he'd come. I'd be very happy with either GC or IH TBF |

| Cocko was just pipped to the post last time by Adams.
This time he'd be the leading candidate if the board want the fresh young manager remit they employed with Adams.
Holloway or Cocko for me. |

they were the first two names I mention yesterday Chris Powell & Darren Moore impressed with what they done at Charlton & WBA respectively specially Moore at WBA Though Powell had a slight blip at Southend those would be my choices |

| Graham Coughlan has never hidden his love for Plymouth Argyle and the Irishman is still incredibly popular with the Green Army.
So it is no surprise that the former Pilgrims defender has been heavily linked with replacing Derek Adams at Home Park.
Cocko, as he is affectionately known, was back in Plymouth in March as manager of Bristol Rovers in a game that finished 2-2.
Ruben Lameiras had put the Pilgrims 1-0 up before Jonson Clarke-Harris netted an equaliser.
A Tony Craig own goal three minutes later looked like it would be enough for Argyle to get all three points but Gavin Reilly found an equaliser at the death.
After the game Coughlan spoke of his fondness for the Pilgrims but also spoke about his delight at guiding his side a point closer to safety.
The 44-year-old has been manager of Rovers since January 6, following an impressive spell in as caretaker boss.
He found himself in that role following the dismissal of Darrell Clarke, another man who is linked with the vacant Argyle job.
Coughlan has another two-years left on his deal with Rovers but that hasn't stopped him jumping top of the bookmakers list.
He is now the 5/4 favourite to replace Adams, with Ian Holloway second at 6/4 and Clarke third with odds of 9/1. |

| Can Argyle afford to pay compensation to the gas, especially with paying Adams off.
