No one thing should, can, does or ever has controlled parliament.

MPs are elected and then vote as they see fit. That's how it works. That's British sovereignty.

The corrupt, discredited and unimplementable referendum was only advisory and has no legal mandate whatsoever.

Best way out is a second referendum. Leave wins and it's done. Remain wins and we'll be so sick of them and so aware of how awful they are in terms of decision-making that we'll never have another and it's done.

Can't see any other solution to it.

What a surprise. ...and you actually think your idea is a solution? God help us.

I'm amazed that the gov didn't advise us all at the time that the result of the referendum was only advisory. lol! You really are a deluded cnut.

The Tory party is now at risk so I expect the good of the country to take a back seat, even further back, until they feel they are once again in charge.

Even if we stay in the EU we have lost, and will no doubt lose more, so much industry and business it will be years before we recover.

Plus it is now blatantly obvious to the rest of the world that our parliament is a joke, a collection of, mainly, self serving, corrupt, privately educated twats.

Cameron and the "elite" put us here, they will ensure their interests are served fully and devil take the hindmost.

It's all getting jolly exciting now, follow the yellow brick road springs to mind with May and her plans for Brexit.

You could not have made any of this up even if you had tried back when the referendum result was announced in 2016.

I saw Tony Blair on Newsnight last night and he was having a pop at May and her government for the mess this has become.

Tusk was clear at 4PM
The withdrawal agreement must be signed by Thursday week to allow any technical extension.
The same withdrawal agrremment Bercow has ruled out being voted on again without substantial changes of which there will be none

So thats out completely now

No deal under any circumstances was ruled out by the commons which leaves just one option left

Revoking article 50.....there is simply nowhere else to go at this point

The commons might have voted to rule out "no deal" but that is not what has been passed in law. The law as it stands says the UK is leaving on the 29th. Deal or no deal...

OR Revoke article 50. We are not leaving under no deal under any circumstances that revocation will come first

Sky either know something everyone else doesnt because its reporting that its almost certain the withdrawal agreement will be on the agenda again next week

PM apparently having press conference at 8pm

So now we have Tusk telling Bercrow that he must allow the vote? Is this us being in control of our destinies? Doesn't look like it to me, glad I voted out.

On Radio5live yesterday, there was a quote from a commentator suggesting that May could resign next week ?. Now that would throw a huge spanner into the works and cause even more stress and strife.

And today, another has stated that May and her government could be brought down next week should she lose a third vote and a no deal situation is on the cards.

If that gets to over seventeen million votes I think theyd have a good case.

Nothing at all would shock you in this pantomime. To be honest May looks like she's close to a nervous breakdown these days. I think she should go out in style, sink a load of lunchtime vodka red bulls, turn up in the commons flashing her fanny at the speaker and calling Corbyn a cnut before be dragged away screaming by the ERG never to be seen again.

Farage has already abandoned the 50 odd people on his 'march to brexit'. feel a bit sorry for them really.

At least whatever happens next Monday/Tuesday (how does May get around Bercows ruling over her meaningful vote) we wont walk off a cliff face on Friday next week

If it doesnt go through at least plenty of time to revoke the lot of it

The EU’s new timetable will be enough change to allow a vote
