The Lyndhurst is similar, you can get a wet shirt in row 6 The cantilever roof over the horseshoe is at least covering all the seats. Any ground you get wet in the first few rows. Difference is wherever you sit in the lower tier you're going to get piss wet through as the roof barely covers any of the seats. I hope the plastic ponchos are free. The mankover is rubbish. |

More legroom = reduced capacity
The seat I sat in at Wembley might have been comparable with the Lindy, but it certainly had more room than the one I last sat in located in the Grandstand. Every inch makes a difference when you're 6'4'' and I would say there was a two inch difference at least? As for reduced capacity... We are hardly butting up against the maximum each week are we? How many sell outs have we had during the Brent era? |

That's a little bit of a farmyard point of view isn't it?! The usual 3-4 sellouts per season depending on opponents and success I would say. Who on earth would be interested in attending under the Brentmare anyway. I personally don't think it's overambitious to have a 21-22k capacity. |

| Yes it does it's only when there's a southwesterly that rain blows in there. Trouble is that's the predomominate wind when it rains. |

Absolutely Bungo has crossed every bridge it would be possible to find This build is such a wasted opportunity to do the bloody job properly. Surely Brent and Hallett could have found commercial finance to do it to the satisfaction of all (well yes not Brent) with corners built in and two tiered grandstand with a 25,000 capacity Instead we have this bungled abortion led by the two biggest bunglers on planet earth namely Brent and Back |

| Anybody with half a brain could see the club didn't have enough value to pay for a new fully completed stadium on it's own, which is why a deal should have been done to keep the stadium on a long lease. Brent and Hallett could still have had their precious talking ad eating rooms that are going to make oh sooooo much money. So, I don't think anything has been bungled, as such. I think the object of the exercise is to appropriate large tracts of the stadium footprint for non Argyle activities and personal gain, through shareholder value or private acquisition, but under the continuing guise of being philanthropic true greens, without actually "giving" one penny. Brent didn't bungle Oldway Manor, he just had a sliding agenda that was eventually shown up for what it was, |

| I do love how he glosses over months upon months of delays because they’re not “mission critical”.
He’d get a modicum of respect if he just explained in simple terms exactly wtf has gone so wrong with a portakabin shop fit-out that was supposed originally to be a four week fit, then an eight week fit to be finished in early September. Now they are looking at the New Year.
Rank amateur doesn’t even start to describe it. Having a brand new facility up and running now with good marketing and PR in the lead to Xmas could have been a significant money spinner for the club - money they will now lose.
Top work.

| Indeed, as Punchy said the other day work seems to have speeded up since the shyster released some of his malevolent grip on the club - interesting. |

| Progress is still painfully slow. There should be dozens of workmen crawling all over the mankover to get things done - and, there's not a whiff of Grandstand construction yet - just more enabling. This will be the most enabled grandstand in grandstand history.
As for on schedule. Well, the shop and the GT's bar certainly aren't on schedule. As for on budget? I doubt that very much. Of course, the dim-witted villagers will believe everything Bungo & Co throw at them. How terribly sad to be so ill-informed, gullible and naive! |

| Stand by for the portakabin shop fit out to be scaled back even further in terms of spec....if indeed any further scaling back is even possible.
You gotta laugh really. The hotch potch of crazy-paved style slabbing along with laughably irregular tarmac fill-ins just at the front of the facade, is a fantastically appropriate forerunner to the cheap mess that will great you as you walk through the doors and beyond.
Village to the end. |

Village to the end. That crazy paving/tarmac is incredible. God knows how it ever got past planning. Nobody driving a car into Argyle for the first time can tell where the actual bloody road is! It's ridiculous. I'm amazed there hasn't been an accident yet. |

| We managed to completely demolish and rebuild three sides of the ground in the same amount of time it'll take to rebuild one stand |

| Back in 2001 we played Carlisle on the corresponding weekend. I can't find any pictures or clips online but I'd be confident to suggest that the main structure and roof of the horseshoe were complete with only the seating and concourse fitting to do. |

I remember being impressed with how they'd got on with it mind you Barr are a proffesional outfit. DIY SOS was always going to struggle. |

| The first game when any of the horseshoe, just the Devonport End, was usable was the Torquay Boxing Day game.
A game I missed because I couldn't get a ticket.
So season end to Christmas to include all demolition and rebuild to near completion. 7 months or thereabouts. Including an unscheduled delay due to asbestos in the old pasty hut at the top of the ramp. |

But yeah when you compare work schedules and timetables it is truly shocking that all that was demolished and the horseshoe built, in the same time that this bunch of clowns have overseen this Mankover enablement. |
