Blimey. Weird even. That will have repercussions for Merkel. Putin will be delighted. If Germany end up toppling to the far right in the next 12 months, I for one, previously uninterested, will be glad these islands are getting out of the EU. These things are on a knife edge and it's not getting any safer.
Blimey, Germany are out of a football tournament, the country will lurch to the far right, facism will rise, taking the whole of the EU with it, throwing the continent of Europe into turmoil into which will step Putin as our saviour.
I reckon old bees is our own Trump, he secretly admires Putin and all he stands for.
No, quite the opposite dear boy, I dislike all authoritarian nutcases, Putin, Trump and Dueterte being the latest. Erdogan bringing up the rear. My musings, and that is what they are, hope you'll forgive me, are that any little slap against the German ego is another penny in the nationalism piggy bank of D land. Europe is on the cusp and much depends on German psyche. It doesn't take much to upset delicate balances, but then, you clearly have a crystal ball. Merkel is probably less secure than May. They said Trump was unelectable, they said Corbyn was a buffoon, they said Brexit would never be voted for. They said it was the war to end all wars. Anyway, no need for any such unpleasant musings to put you off your stroke. Nothing bad happens on a golf course, in fact nothing much at all. Waiting for godot.

Neville was scathing pre game on selections and clearly not impressed at half time

We'll have to win 4 games in 2 weeks to lift the cup, with the best side available on the pitch. I think it's a wise move to rest players and give others some game time.

Basically a friendly game, starting line ups a joke, in terms of going for a win.

Not sure what to make of this game.
If it stays as it is then it is Colombia next and they do look beatable.
Looks like Belgium happy to win the group and play Japan then.

It's like a really bad friendly. Terrible match. I hope England are playing this badly on purpose.

Job done but doesn't sit well with me the idea we didn't play to win. More worrying is the fact that the second string seems quite inferior. The main dilemma ie Rashford or Sterling is a bit mute now as both have proved they can miss a goal. Thought Vardy was disappointing. Anyway on to next game and the knockouts it gets interesting now.

Total load of cock, should have played his best team and kept the spirit going. Columbia will be tricky.

Given the option of Japan, then probs Brazil....
Or Colombia then the Swiss or Swedes, of course the later is the best option. So it ain’t rocket science Southgate wasn’t screaming at Kane to get on the pitch.
