On the subject of the world cup, I don't even know who's qualified apart from 5 or 6 teams. Not quite sure where the spell was broken, but probably quite some time ago. Only Argyle have held my attention in the last 20 years, and the new regime hasn't helped. Probably a bit beyond me now. Lots of other stuff to wax and wane over.

And I must say, I really really don't like the authoritarian conservative Saudi monarchy.

That was a classic, Spain V Ronaldo. What a player he still is even at his level. Agree with Freath's view Spain look a class act some of their passing around the box was sublime. And Nachos goal was a beaut.

Expected a lot more from the Germans. Mexico's end product wasn't great and with better finishing they'd have been 3 or 4 up at half time.
