| Errington has just said that Halletts money will clear the balloon payment. I'm still trying to get my head around the process whereby new shares are issued, that doesn't impact on the value of the existing holders shares. |

Can't say I know feck all about "real business" but surely the club will be worth more without the debt so in the end no ones share has been devalued? It's the only way it makes sense to me, unless Hallettttttttt is similar to some other sponsors we've had? The more you look at this the more it makes Nikkk look a bit dim, he threw a lot of cash at Brent but has feck all share in the club. |

| Makes the trust offer from Brent look even more comical. What was it again? A nice wad of money to gain absolute naff all in the club. |

But that's more a byproduct of the overall debt being reduced ain't it? In theory, plucking shares out of the air and selling them to people who'd like to buy them seems a no-brainer doesn't it? But the value of those shares and certainly existing ones becomes less and less. It's like simply printing new bank notes, in real terms you are de-valuing existing currency. The Herald article implies (albeit indirectly) that Brent and Wrathall wouldn't be diluting their proportion of 'worth'. |

The Herald article implies (albeit indirectly) that Brent and Wrathall wouldn't be diluting their proportion of 'worth'. It's not uncommon though is it? I suppose as a company gains in value then you can offer more shares in it, ie, take on a basket case of a club worth £1, sell freehold to council, save all money that should be spent on wages to pay off debt then the club is worth say £1m if debt free. I can't wait for the new plans to be unveiled and the bumlicking master announcing that he's looked them in the eye, so there's nothing to worry about. As always with the Brentmare more questions than answers. |

Your memory is spot on. And unlike the nonsense being peddled by Oddball on pasoti on their equivalent thread, it wasn't shares in the club on offer, it was convertible loan notes. No say, no vote, no point.

The Herald article implies (albeit indirectly) that Brent and Wrathall wouldn't be diluting their proportion of 'worth'. It's all voodoonomics, isn't it. If the new money goes into the coffers then it's cash, which is an asset. If it pays off debt then liability is reduced. Either way the balance between debt/credit has shifted and that is a key along with turnover, brand value and cashflow that all get assessed by a potential purchaser for an appropriate value regarding purchase price. That price is then whatever can be agreed between buyer and seller. So despite the share holding of existing shareholders being lower in percentage terms ("diluted") that smaller percentage is of a higher value to start with. If one balances t'other then their net investment value remains the same. |

| Basket case of a club and you can bet your bottom Yankee dollar, that this will benefit individuals more than the long term future of the club.
Come on down Arry, perleeeeease ! |

Someone might correct me but I think he's an associate of Stapleton. Or was. We call him Ade the Aviva here, which makes it strange his recent anti Brent stuff. |

| Great questions from Graham Clark and Tony Cholwell on the farm Q&A forum. What a shame that the majority of fans won't understand the language used, or the implications if the sale of the stadium goes ahead.

traditional Q&A session over on the farm. REAL names please I thought you were taking the piss! Hi Simon, can I call you Simon? Let's just call you Mr. Hallet for now sir until we have looked each other in the eyes. Erm well Sir, erm firstly let's all have a round of applause for James cos ee saved us and another for you Sir for saving James. Erm I hold a lot of charidee auctions and I erm wos wondering does you erm support charidee yourself? We'm been missing a bit of dosh on our forums for a while and we'm looking for a kindly sort of a cove who could bung us lots of dosh that we then channel onto James. I know Youm fronting up for the balloon an all but a few grand would really really help replace some of my lost standing amoung the fanbase. In return I can offer you unlimited bumlicking support from here 'til eternity. Windsor Boy Deadly Lampshade Deepthroat Ian Nool. |

| The sheep and thankful ones down on the farm will be thinking that dear Simon has joined the board to somehow finance the club, so we can jump up the leagues. Bless them. |
