| I heard they are in deep trouble (tax) by one source, the source works for Albion but is away on holiday but his/her father was told this. My other source said it more deep rooted and it would not be known by normal employee at Albion, administration could not be ruled out. I hope this is not true. |

That was the case a week or two ago but things have moved on, hopefully some positive stuff to come very soon. |

| Hope the news isn't "imminent".
Away to Darlo in the 25000 seater white elephant this weekend. |

| if graham dawe can keep the core of this years squad while adding well in the summer to it i wouldn't bet against Albion earning promotion next season back to the championship.

| A tough ask with only one team promoted. A friend who knows Albion inside out reckons there are many teams even in this division with vastly superior resources, financial investment will be needed. |

| And when I talked to Dawe at Crimbo he reckoned it was more important stabilising the club than gaining promo with its added costs. |

They would be in the running now regardless to other teams resources and investment had the squad gelled sooner then they did. Its no suprise once they did they have been on a roll. |

| Hopefully will happen this week, and yes it really is good news. It could push Brents development plans even further down the road me thinks. |

What could be built at the Brickfields that Brent would not like to happen?
And I could be wrong and Truro City might come in and share the ground for a time.

| Any announcement will be interesting and give an indication where the Council thinking is headed, and hence for Central Park as well. The Brickfields has long been Devonport's main health and sport/recreation confluence, with the Cumberland next door, cricket across the way etc. I can't imagine the viability of a "conference centre" at the Brickfields. Jimmy boy was apparently in discussion with Albion a year or two ago over something, but then who cares anymore what he talks about. My guess is possibly more residential building funding something. |

Perhaps it'll be us ground sharing with Albion, and not the other way around? Twould explain Mr Brent's reluctance to do feck all with HP after the damning HHP plans nose-dived after Bretonside go the go ahead! Just a thought to throw into the mix! |

I don't think councils think much these days they more assess, try to improve and then rubber stamp. Planning regulations are such these days that the case not to approve something needs to be absolutely water-tight because the proposer can appeal to the minister in government (who at present is Eric Pickles) and he can over-ride any objections. I suppose councils hope, dream and scheme like they always have but they aren't the Highest Power anymore and what they want is largely immaterial. |
