General Election Countdown who is going to win

Labour just never nailed the Tory crap about what happened in 2008. It was more or less fiction, but it's going to get the Cons over the line.

No gains so far.

Lib Dems losing 10 - 20% of their previous votes in most seats (albeit they didn't hold any of those seats).

BBC's isn't so grand. They show % votes lost/ gained against 2010 and showing a brief swingometer between Tory and Labour.

A friend of mine at the counts in Glasgow says the city's Labour MPs are conceding.

SNP have an MP in Paisley. Who was born in 1995.

Dunbartonshire West swing of 34% from Labour to SNP.

The SNP candidates are getting 30,000+ almost without exception.

20 year old Mhairie Black is the youngest MP elected since 1667. I think the Scots would elect Rab C Nesbitt if he was running as a SNP candidate.

Gordon Brown's old seat in Kirkcaldy lost to SNP.

Jo Swinson was Employment Minister.

Kirkcaldy (Gordon Brown's old seat) gone to SNP with 35% swing.

35% swing in Gordon Brown's Kirkcaldy/Cowdenbeath. This makes Blair 97 look like a photo finish.

Couple of Labour gains - Burnley from Lib Dems and Ealing Central from Tories.

Labour majority of 274 in Ealing Central.

BBC have a proper swingometer now showing predicted national swings.

First Tory gain in Brecon and Radnorshire from Lib Dems.

General swings (England & Wales) of 7% from Lib Dems to both Labour and Tory.

Scotland 27% from Labour to SNP.
