No way the Tories will allow the SNP into government, I'm not sure how the Lib Dem party works though. Don't the membership have to approve it? Could be wrong but I think that's right. If Clegg is history they might not fancy it. |

If Clegg is history they might not fancy it. Clegg will be lucky to be an MP after tonight. |

| Agreed. I think he's relying on Tories voting tactically. |

| I always try to be moderate. Conservatives are not evil. Christmas will not be cancelled. The world is not over.
But then Michael Gove appears on TV and I remember how it felt in 1987 and 1992. |

But then Michael Gove appears on TV and I remember how it felt in 1987 and 1992. I voted tory at the last 2 elections that i have been able to vote in due to age. The first time was a protest vote against the iraq War and the war criminal bliar mostly and the second time because i believed they were the best party going forward for the country....however the 5 years under cameron i got proven very wrong on that. |

| It was an exit poll not the bloody results.
An exit poll of 20,000 people. |

| Right, absolutely.
But it's hard to forsee the Conservatives getting more votes than last time.
Anyone see Farage throwing a wobbly on ITV? |

| Seems to be a lot of caution about the exit poll- if it is correct will there be another Tory government or will there be an anti-austerity government (with Ed Milliband leading)?
UKIP look to have gained Tory/ Lib dem votes in the 3 Sunderland seats- will this be reflected across the country (with UKIP being the second/ third place party in most counts [albeit not winning many])? |

| Putney has been held by Tories.
All 5 seats announced so far have been held - Where's the fireworks?????
Lib dems look to have been hammered in each. |

Yep. It'll be interesting to see if they still get slaughtered in seats they hold. Neil Kinnock looking miserable and stunned on the Beeb - that brings back memories. |

Polls are unreliable, it'll be a hell of a lot closer in PMV than the big polls suggest. |

| Swing away from Labour in Nuneaton.
Three figures for Lib Dems.
Majority for the Cons?
God help us. |
