Yep, rather having money than seeing people die based purely on their origin of birth is kind of sadistic. It shows a lack of compassion for anyone non-British on the basis of... Not a feckin clue, just seems like general xenophobic hate to me. You present their side of the argument on the EU and yeah I've read it, but I still see the benefits of the EU outweighing Ukip's negatives. I've already made the point about them playing on society's moral panics. They imply some kind of European totalitarian control, "It seeks greater control over our law enforcement services, our foreign affairs and tax policy. There is significant momentum behind plans for a EU-wide army and police force.". Miliband dismissed this point in the debate the other night. Its a fabrication that suits their own political agenda. I'm not saying Labour are great, I'm not saying that the Greens are the perfect party. But to take UKIP seriously, to consider them a compassionate party with honest and decent intentions is just feckin whack. That's my last word on the matter, they've a warped moral compass and are not a genuine alternative. |

| They speak more sense than the other parties (GREEN FAIRIES excluded to an extent) and hit a chord with all the other voters who have seen the cost to our fishing, business and border control. It's just the plain cost of Europe together with the extra layers of beaurocracy that are a burden and not a help. Tell me how many austerity cutbacks that have been made in the EU? Fecked if I've heard of any? So let's go onto immigration which seems to be your key dislike in the kipper policy. What would you say is an acceptable amount of immigration into the UK (300k + pa at present I believe) and also say how homes, jobs, doctors, nurses, hospital beds, schools and pensions will be found for these people and who are going to pay for them? |

An inherently racist and nasty party full of completely unlikable bigoted men, fortunately that haven't achieved even a scratch of the support you've disillusioned yourself into believing they have. I have nothing but respect for genuine politicians of the left, I just wouldn't know where to look to find one, lefty twattery is all that is currently on offer. You have such a bigoted view of UKIP it is hard to address, suffice it to point out that UKIP won the Euro elections out polling the Tories and Labour and stand to increase their share of the GE vote by three to four hundred percent including having a better than decent shot at winning the Plymouth Moor View constituency, lefty twattery as usual has no forking clue what is actually going on. |

He does appear to be a total no neck twat doesn't he? Typical, unwashed, moronic, UAF type, all mouth and definitely no trousers. You make a decent point or two Iggster, particularly about the latest debate. Polling suggests 70% of the public agrees that we need control over immigration yet when Nigey makes that very point he gets howls of derision from the studio audience who were obviously bussed in lefty wankers. The really important point that the lefty wankerdom seem to have missed en masse is that while they were having a J Arthur over them three gobby munters laying into both Ed and Nigey, about half the tv audience were cringeing at the abject cluelessness of the three witches, so while the harpies were nicking lefty votes from Ed, Nigey was the only one on display that 50% of the viewers could possibly relate to, he will have picked up support from Cammy, who ducked out, while Ed was losing the more seriously dim to the loony left. It always strikes me that the lefty twattery only ever consider their own overtly bigoted viewpoint, they are not big picture people. |

| More circles here than Swindon's magic roundabout. I see the deep lying root of UKIP's purpose as bigoted, you see my opinion on them as bigoted. Face it Tis, we come from different ends of the spectrum and we just wont agree - that's not necessarily bigotry, that's not me being unwilling to consider your point of view, I've done exactly that and come up with the opinion that you're frankly wrong, as you do with me. Respect that or not, I couldn't care less, I respect your right to your views but I can't respect what your views represent.
Agreed there's no politicians of the left out there and available for us to vote for, but I don't see how that suddenly makes UKIP the viable option? I had no noodles the other day when I'd already prepped the rest of a stir fry, so I substituted in spaghetti - it was feckin minging mate. Because there's no noodles, don't vote spaghetti - I'd argue rice would have been the better option. |

| I have never seen a left wing politician, believer or commentator who can actually debate an issue with right and centre people without resorting to name calling and arrogance when challenged on their views.

never But the right only sing their tune with rose petals? To pick on the man who referred to me as a "no neck twat" with "Typical, unwashed, moronic, UAF type, all mouth and definitely no trousers" opinions and political views. Alternative views expressed in a debate (kind of the point of debate) are described as "howls of derision" and that side of politics simply referred to as "lefty wankers" and the "seriously dim to the loony left". Three strong women put themselves forward in politics, yet they're derided for their appearance and willingness to express an opinion, "three gobby munters", "three witches", "harpies". Of course, Tis doesn't represent anyone beyond himself, but his attitudes seem to be more commonly found from those on the right wing of the political spectrum. This is a good article highlighting the sexist attitudes expressed in the press towards the "three gobby munters": [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I won't apologise for my intolerance of such attitudes. |

Yeah, when she wore that red construction hat she looked like Wee Jimmy Krankie, Miliband looks a bit like Wallace from Wallace and Gromit and Farage looks like a cross between Bean from Even Stevens and Beaker from the Muppets, but my point is - which I think you got - is that their appearances are irrelevant to their politics. To deride the female politicians based on appearance harks back to some ancient sexism and male dominance. Others' point that turning offensive in a debate of political views is an exclusive trope of the left is nonsense. |
