| I fear an ongoing problem as regards capacity too. Brent has set the bar so low that any prospective new owner may well look to take advantage of the typical janner apathy, and also mug us off with another woefully inadequate miniStand. |

| The green army are awakening to the fact that we were mugged, the enablers have been identified and will be kept well clear of any kind of leadership role in the future, as GC said we need to be vigilant and keep the critical eye firmly on the club. |

| Surely James received his regular probing from his chauffeur this weekend so we await the feedback from Mr Neweel imminnently. |

Any new owner would have to comply with the terms of the existing October 2011 lease with the City Council. That would require the owner to build a grandstand with a capacity of 3,700 which would match the existing capacity of 16,388. The concept of a 'Mini- stand' is an interesting one. The grandstand proposed as part of HHP is virtually identical in capacity to the Phase 2 Barr grandstand. The difference is that the Barr version had two equal tiers separated by a row of executive boxes whilst the HHP one had a single tier with a 7 row 'shelf'. The Phase 2 capacity was just under 19,000 by virtue of the seating in the corners which under the HHP scheme is occupied by other uses. One of those corners would not even be part of the football club stadium lease if the new lease transferring the 1.22 acres is ever signed. The real issue is the ability to extend the existing stadium in the future and of course HHP would result in an impenetrable restriction of any significant future additions to the stadium |

| Speccy has played a blinder, a real poker faced player if ever there was one.
All the lies of honesty, openness and transparency (eh x-throbber, can you remember what your hero said!!) to ac-con-modate any awkward questions post admin-lite - 'cos we have never really, truly come out of admin have we!!!!
We now have one of the most seriously, fragile and exposed clubs on the planet, it makes you wonder why to bother with such ham-strung ambition, it makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach at how far the mighty have fallen, with no potential to aim for the stars ever again.
All those wasted years of support gone down the drain for nothing.
Final nails in the argo coffin to be driven home as and when.
No point any more!
My ST days not so long over, i have been to HP for the last time.
Thanks speccy, you corporate bucket rattling deceiver.

Could have sworn that i remember Stapes talking of a 23000 capacity rising to 27000 if needed-given the apparent engineering difficulties which have been put forward by those with some knowledge of the subject during the debates on the Brent proposals and possible expansion, was he being economical with the truth there? Always thought Phase1 was a "settle for the championship" cheapjack piece of junk anyway. |

| From memory the original Barr plans were for an 18,600 stadium. With no dental practice inside the ground. |

| Bretonside development is moving on at pace Quote from Herald The public has wanted Bretonside developed and changed for years," added Cllr Lowry. "This was about listening to them and providing welcoming facilities. It will enable us to revamp Bretonside with the £40million Drake Circus leisure development which will provide in excess of 500 jobs." Developers British Land are waiting in the wings to improve Bretonside, making it into a city centre attraction, including a 12-screen cinema complex, 13 restaurants, along with parking for over 400 cars. Major plans are in place to replace the current Bretonside coach station with a new terminal situated in place of the condemned Mayflower West multi-storey car park.
