| Will you two stop it please! Those 2 links just make our situation and potential super stand all the more painful to comprehend! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The only way any of this could possibly happen is if brent is long gone. As a billionaire is unlikely to emerge to take us to the promised land, a combination of Trust, Council, wealthy supporters and a share issue for all fans, would appear to be the only solution. There probably wouldn't be enough money to do it all at once but it would feel like our club and just maybe get everyone pulling in the same direction ? |

| ATD's visionaries do seem to be able to spot a wrongun when they see one...................... time and time again. ps You are of course correct Rickler. Those nobodies who will do anything to be somebodies at a football club, have contributed greatly to the parlous state the club is in. More buckets than brains , indeed. |

| Who was it posted that link to greens on screen the day the council funded Brent's takeover... Sorry bought the freehold. All Queuing up to interviewed by the media, where's bucket sue now, where's Webby? Never understand why they can't just support the club instead of pretending to be someone important. |

Dunno suffers, but I'm reliably informed Brent's now having to downsize on his original ministand. Akkerong have excitedly released this new image of the latest plans, which includes an extensive remodeling of the Demport... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| The sooner this whole project is officially dead in the water, and Brent fucks off the better.
Yes there's the balloon payment that will be dealt with as part of HHP, but if we can get some cash in for Purrington, and say Nelson (a necessary sacrifice) that risk dimishes a bit.. plus with Tony Wrathall on board we could ride out some tough financial times. Would feel a lot more comfortable in League 1 mind, and with some extra cash from a promotion campaign or cup run in the bank PAFC wouldn't need Brent or that ministand.
I do worry though, that we will get a value engineered 3.9k capacity piss take microstand to meet the minimum standard set by PCC, Brent scarpers with his profit (fair enough if he was doing the job properly) - this project is NOT dead in the water, we are only a few percentage points in occupancy rates for this dream killing clusterfuck being built.
Let's hope British Land get moving with their project, because only that really has the potential to kill demand once and for all for unit space at HHP. Fingers crossed.
Some people must think us lot on this site are just cynical cnut's not in favour of anything, well that's horseshite, I'm sure I speak for all of us not in favour of this project, it's the future of Plymouth Argyle that counts - keeping open the possibility no matter how slim, that PAFC could one day be the best it can be. |

That's If you believe that 70% of the retail units have been let Which I don't I think it's a number plucked out of thin air too sound believable. The scheme is shit beyond belief, no one in their right mind would want feck all to do with it. |

It doesn't matter whether 70% has been reached now, as we speak (assuming that's the target) - the point is the occupancy target could be reached at any point, and as soon as this trigger point is reached, work to get the HHP project will begin. |

| I would imagine though that the cinema will take up a large chunk of the percentage of that trigger point and the cinema has to be looking dodgy now? |

| There'll be all sorts of clauses tied up in these pre-letting contracts. I'd have thought there'll be some sort of time-frame get-out clause for companies that have been signed up for months. They won't wanna be hanging around forever and a day waiting for more mugs to buy in to James' Clusterfuck dream, will they?
The longer it all drags on the higher the chance of the % of pre-lets dropping, shorely? |
