Obviously I don't expect you UKIPpers to take either seriously.

It's as if data and proper research being analysed are secondary to personal perception with you lot. Logic has nothing at all to do with it.

Ahhh but there's the rub, you are trying to argue with us lot from the point of view that we are ukipers when we aren't. I can't speak for anybody else but I am anti European union, anti the current set up of government in this country and am definately a revolutionary and a little bit of an anarchist. I along with others can see why they (UKIP) have the support that they do, why can't you?

The policies don't really matter though do they Franny, I hate to use a jokey Barton to strengthen my case but he put it rather well for non psephologists.

"The policies don't really matter..." is it in a nutshell. Of course they don't matter; they don't make sense. As I said previously: "data and proper research don't really matter". UKIP is more like a religion than politics.

In fact talking politics with UKIPpers is rather like talking religion with a Jehovah's Witness. One side uses logic and common sense whereas the other is zealously entrenched in irrational beliefs. Neither side even begins to understand the other.

(Obviously talking for myself here: I don't understand the appeal of UKIP at all nor do I understand why anybody would want what they campaign for. All of it is counter-intuitive and all of it will ultimately be self-defeating.)

Kellner is a knob head who works for a Tory on Camoron's policy unit, what do you think he is gonna say?

If he is such a red hot psepher please explain why despite his highly qualified reasoning the Kipper vote has expanded exponentially since 2009?

8000% increase in local councilors.

Winning a national election, that's real people voting not a survey of what they might think in a push poll, with nearly 30% of the vote, over 40% in many areas.

On course to increase vote share in May 2015 to over 20%.

Clearly the only party that can challenge the Tories in Newark despite the local Tory getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar, where are Labour? A very poor third, where are the LibDims? A good question, disappeared up their own rectal orifice I guess. Where are the Greens? I just threw that in for Hairy.

This article is just more Tory bull shit, and in the Guardian no less. they are all running scared.

The question I ask myself is would a party that was elected to power with not one single policy and made it all up on the hoof actually do a worse job than the fuckwits who've managed to get this country into the deep financial mire it's in right now.

That said I'll give the present government credit for starting to address the long term issues of welfare and pensions that have for decades been kicked into the long grass in favour of short term political gain.

Nigey shits academics.

Someone should explain to this tw@ that:-

a. He needs a haircut.

b. Perception is reality in politics.

c. Social housing in this country is disproportionately provided to immigrants via massive amounts of housing benefit.

d. In many parts of London it is impossible for British people to progress up the waiting lists because of immigrants and asylum seekers being parachuted on to the top of the lists.

Not academic drivel from some knob with tenure at the LSE and a nice 2 million pound house in Islington, FACTs gleaned from real people living the nightmare in London.

FACTs. There are no non Muslims on Tower Hamlets council executive, non Muslims do not get social housing in Tower Hamlets.

Just look at the leadership.

Camoron = Born with a silver spoon, got a poor PPE degree, never had a proper job outside of politics.

Cleggy = Born with a silver spoon, got a poor Archaeology degree, never had a proper job outside of politics.

Red Ed = Born with a silver spoon, got a v poor PPE degree, is actually quite bright, never had a proper job.

Nigey = Left school at 18 and went to work in the City in a hugely competitive market where he was a big success.

Who would you rather have making decisions on the economy?

Shirley not George Osborne who got a 2.1 in Modern History and is chancellor because he ran Camoron's leadership campaign?

a) irrelevant
b) the article is not about politics it is about socio-economics
c) rubbish
d) unsubstantiated

Followed by speculation, dodgy and unverifiable anecdote and islamophobia.

All of which again backs up my "facts don't matter" point.

LOL @ LT again.

It's got little to do with UKIP or Nigel Farage though.

What is the point of the link, exactly?

I was once a Labour voter Iggy, but I will never again vote for a party that has taken us into two illegal wars and that is responsible for the killing of thousands of people until those responsible are brought in front of a court. Neither will I vote for a party that portrays itself as a working mans party while carrying out policies of greed that Thatcher would have been proud of.

Article dated April 3rd.

Last election May 28th.

You saw the current link for Tower Hamlet's senior officers I put up I take it?

Besides which what has Tower Hamlets got to do with Nigel Farage?

I'm baffled.
