| You can get really good quality digital pianos for a fraction of the price of traditional acoustic ones Tgwu. They're portable and don't need tuning either. Look out for Roland, Yamaha and Casio. |

She got the guitar Saturday afternoon. Broke a rope Saturday evening. Cost me £4 to get it fixed! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Just spent ten minutes on hold to talk talk, they rang me, as they do every month to tell me that I haven't paid my line rental, I then explain that I paid them 12 months up front when I changed to them, they then apologise then ring me again. What's worse after ringing me, keeping me on hold for ten minutes they cut me off and told me to ring back later. Grrrr. |

I can sing the chorus of Our House by Madness in Russian. In other news, I fell over today. 90% certain I've broken my left big toe and got proper big bruises on one knee and the opposite hip. Naturally, however, one of my finely chiseled cheekbones bore the brunt and a black eye the likes of which I haven't had since my teens is developing nicely. I'm planning to use the 'you should see the other feller' line when necessary and appropriate. Still, though. Lidls have got their xmas stuff in, so I've got some chocolate covered marzipan to cheer me up. |

| I think I'm becoming immune to coffee. I had a Generic Coffee Hipster Outlet overpriced latte today, and it just sent me to sleep. Bad news if so. |

| Just popped a Pork shoulder joint in the slow cooker. I'm quite looking forward to smelling it, should I wake during the night. |

| There should be an opposite thread to this where we could post interesting stuff. My house smells of pig should be the first post. Peggy's Everything's Amazing Thread? |

Opened the curtains this morning to find that the windowbox has been removed as part of the refurbishment of the building. If it's not replaced I'm going to be very upset. |

More to the point she's broken her arm not her leg. So there's no reason she couldn't walk, is there? I think you should point this out to her - especially after all the trouble you've been put through. Some people are just selfish. |

Some people are just selfish. Your right there......her hip replacement was two years ago so walking is possible.....she could even take up jogging....she's only 72yrs old......I'm getting soft. |

More likely forgetful since you hadn't mentioned any of that and given that you seem to have assumed that I would know it unreasonably optimistic too. |
