| Cats always have a spare home or two, just in case. My brilliant cat used to get quite flustered if I came home from work a bit early and caught her coming out of next door. As if I didn't know she spent all day in there.
Hmm. Not sure about the snoring bit, Moist. Can get a bit loud, as I recall. |

| Just finished the biggest f*** **f pile of ironing ever.
Perhaps I should try little and often rather than leaving it a month. |

| Continuing Peggy's Book of Handy Tips for Life (or whatever I called it):
2. Ironing can be avoided by losing your job and spending your life slobbing about at home, doing work for which you hope to get paid sometime, wearing a manky old trackie that's three sizes too big.
3. Tip (2) also applies to other tasks such as shoe-cleaning, clothes shopping and the replenishment of make-up supplies. |

| This is my 199th (cientos noventa y nueve) post.
I'd better think of something profound for number 200. |

| No profundities on here, please. You'll have to start a special new thread for them |

| I'm enthused after a good days work, consisting of searching the internet for gas fire control valves as the remote doesn't work from my chair very well. The hoover then magically appeared next to me and I cleaned out underneath the fire which now works like new. I'm exhausted now but very satisfied with myself. |

| Had my feet looked at by a proper chiropodist this morning. The malignant tumour on my left sole is a corn. Apparently. |

| Couldn't think of anything particularly profound for my dos cientos post, so I'll stick to mundane.
Finished work....off out for a few beers in the sunshine. |

| I watched the Missus have her eyebrows plucked and shaped yesterday. £15 and she was almost in tears with the pain. Of course it would've helped if I had played the devoted bf and told her how much better they looked, but I couldn't bring myself to lie and told her they looked the same except for the bright red skin around them |

| In other news, since I had to put proper clothes on to go to the chiropodist, I've also been to the library this morning. After lunch, there's the prospect of a supermarket run (postponed from last Thursday, now getting very urgent, although I've got plenty of milk) and a trip to the letterbox to post my Trust votes.
Bleddy freezing cold out there, too. |

| No library in Plympton at the moment. The old one burnt down some time ago. There was a temporary one in the Ridgeway, and a new one (on the site of the old one), is opening soon.
On the domestic front, I've hoovered this morning, gaining more brownie points.
The idea being for the Golf Permissions Officer, aka Mrs PP, to allow me to take part in a golfing holiday in Wales. |

| Tried to accompany Mrs PP to the Dentist this morning, stood for half an hour in the rain only to discover that the busses were not running owing to an accident on the Parkway. Went home and phoned the Dentist only to be told not to worry none of them can get in anyway. |

| Shopping all done. Narrowly avoided a Rhod Gilbert moment: loads of duvets to choose from, but all the same tog rating.
13.5. |

| On making the bed with the new duvet, I discovered that the old one was only 10.5 togs.
I therefore expect the quality of my sleep tonight to be 3 togs better than last night. |

| Blimey! I was cold under a 13.5 tog last night, 10.5 is no more than a sheet! |
