| More office birthday treats. Pineapple, kiwi,, strawberry, blueberry. I don't know why there wasn't any mango this time. Zucchini bread and banana bread. Can't tell if cwop bananas were used in the bread. |

| Spanish course has been cancelled on Wednesday.
Our rather excellent teacher has a prior engagement that she can't change.
Extra week tacked onto the end. |

| Enhorabuena Bit concerned by all this talk about different sized allen keys. That implies that sometimes, when I've found one, I should carry on looking until I find one the right size. It's all a bit much, if you ask me. |

| Even colder today.
Once I've had my breakfast, I'll have run out of both milk and bananas, as well as a few other things. And there's no chocolate in the house, so there's an amber alert out. |

| The Chihuahua puppy did 3 poos on the floor this morning, hopefully she'll get the hang of toilet training soon. |

| Remember when you used to get dog poo in the streets that was like chalk? Why don't you get that nowadays? |

Ah, yes. White dog poo. Some say it's because there's less calcium (or something) in the average dog's diet nowadays. I maintain, however, that white dog poo is magic, and its disappearance is proof that we're all going to hell in a handcart. Specially those local dog owners who persist in using our communal garden as a dogs' toilet. |

| I can confirm that none of my 3 dogs has ever done a white dog poo- sometimes green, sometimes orangey/ yellow, usually brown but never white. |

| In my role as official poo expert, I believe it only turns white with the passage of time and it is usually removed these days before that happens (good thing) hence it is rarely seen. |

| I found some pretty impressive white dog poo in a sand dune near Perranporth last year.
The kids were completely fascinated by it, and I had to tell them quite sternly that "no, you can't take it home to show Nan." |

| When I was about 3 my mum and aunt took me and my younger cousin to Pounds Park. He'd toddled off somewhere and came back with all brown marks all around his mouth. My aunt asked my Mum if she'd given him chocolate (which she hadn't) and when they smelled him they realised that he had been chomping on- dog poo- he got washed off with orange juice. He's now 33 and hates that story |

| Changing the subject hastily before I feel driven to confess how I was always eating stones as a toddler (the grey, flinty ones tasted best) ...
Having carried out several controlled experiments over the last couple of days, I'm pleased to report that Sainsburys Basic rice pudding is very nice. Makes a change from custard, innit.
Not sure if it works out cheaper than their normal own brand. I'll check this later, but it probably does or I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. Nectar points or no nectar points. |

| I used to lick the bottom of snails as a kid... moving on hastily.
I use my nectar points to buy the CHristmas food shopping.

| I realized that I was talking to myself even more than usual this morning on the commute (by car). I wonder why. I also wonder why I realized that I was doing it more than usual. |

It's when you talk to yourself on the way to work and you go by bus you need to worry. |

| That's why i clarified my mode, GJ. Even Peggy's Mundane Thread has standards of eccentricity.
Also, when you are commuting by bus and the person next to you is talking to him/herself you need to worry. |

Also, when you are commuting by bus and the person next to you is talking to him/herself you need to worry. I worry more when commuting by bus and the person sat next to me is knocking one out. I can put up with a bit of one-sided chatter. |

| Thank you for keeping up the standards required of this thread, Wisconsin I talk to myself quite a lot. It's usually a sound telling off. |

| Much safer to knock one out on the bus than while driving. Very responsible.
