Saw a stag clipped by a car outside Plessey's (or whatever it is now, you know the building Prince Charles called a carbunkle down hill from Dartmoor (only just) Diner).
It was down but alive at time. Suspect Diner will have a Venison special over weekend though.

There are few things in life more satisfying that scratching yourselves stupid after a Mozzie bite.
Problem is, scratch, heal, scratch, heal, scratch, heal will result in a SCAR.
I now quite enjoy teasing myself by scratching AROUND the actual bite. You still get the satisfaction of a good scratch but without breaking the skin.

Anyhoo. I've been in Poland for a few days. It was very, very hot. I've got blisters. Popped into Sainsburys on the way home for milk, chocolate and bananas. Nectar points innit.
I have been with you on the excellent Park Peggy. We, the wife and I was in Stoke Village last week and walk to the park for a nice cupper.
Before going on holiday we walked the boundary of both section of the park. (Worst thing the queen mum done was to open the road that split the park)
On the Forum, never paid to get in, Meet my first girl friend when it was turned into a roller skate arena, she was a first aid helper with St John Ambulance. Her father was a RSM in the Marines

I went to the forum and watched a cine film that a guy made who traveled all over Australia, he shot a tree down with a heavy rifle, that's what made me want to travel.

No that was the Palladium, the Forum is/was right on the corner near Albert Gate in Devonport.

No roast for me today, the missus is off at her parents though so I have the place to myself and am strolling around in her underwear

Sozzie sarnies for me in a minute, looking at my missus she will burn quicker than the sozzies! I may go and throw some water on her in a minute. Bored with the coast and crowds off to find a quiet spot on a river tomorrow.

Yeah - like they'd fit you!
In other news, as of yesterday walking is no longer excruciatingly painful. However, thanks to the blisters I've rediscovered the pleasure of getting one's feet into a receptacle of (fairly) hot water with a generous sprinkling of special foot stuff (from Boots of course) while watching telly. I can confidently predict that this is likely to become a regular, but not frequent, occurrence.
