| Right. There was a soup bowl* which hadn't been properly rinsed before being placed in the pile of dishes to be washed up**. The beginnings of a tiny weeny bit of mould had started to form. I think the smell's gone now the bowl's been washed up, but won't know for sure until the windows are closed***.
*Well, a bowl that had been used for soup. Chez Peggy is not posh enough to have special bowls for specific kinds of food. **In the interests of the future of the planet, washing up is only done when there's enough to fill the bowl. Or when there aren't any clean spoons with which to eat breakfast, whichever is sooner. ***Nice to air the place out a bit now it's stopped raining, innit. |

In Portugal they serve them in a sauce made from runny poo. |

In Portugal they serve them in a sauce made from runny poo. Bloody lovely I love caracois ( snails served in a piri piri, garlic and olive oil sauce otherwise known as runny poo) however they're only on the bar snacks in the summer. All gone now... meanwhile, I am now pondering the lyrical and musical structure of Abba. |

| Over the last few months, I've bought a few new coffee mugs. Yesterday I realised that (no matter how long the washing up gets delayed) it's now possible to go at least two weeks without ever having to use an Argo mug - even including guests/visitors/small people's cups of hot chocolate.
I suspect that was the subconscious plan all along. |

| Yours was probably a bit more musically relevant than mine, Jock. They were talking about so-called age inappropriate behaviour, and my contribution was 'You're never too old to do a bit of colouring in'.
True dat doh. Innit. |

| Hoe was very busy, plenty to watch from the cafe, ferry arrive on time, finish off with the £1 special ice and clotted cream with fruit in a tub. |

| Went swimming with the kids. Good exercise I'm told by my doctor so it's bound to hurt later. It wasn't until I'd got out to leave that I noticed my shorts were completely see through! Oops. ------- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |
