| Basically.....I'm with Mock. I would find it difficult to believe a word CW says and I think his credibility to hold what should be a respected honarary position has long gone. The greatest service he can offer to fan unity is to hand the position over to "the likes of" that have cropped up on here, Peter Hall, Kevin Hodges, Johnny Hore or Romain (if you want to be more contemporary), |

Brent is hopefully realising that those he thought were local tribal leaders, are in fact more of a hindrance than a help............ but perhaps he doesn't care. |

I also agree, Webb has not acted the role that such a prestigious position demands, he's just not up to it. |

| If Mark Pedlar represents the positive face of pasoti mods he deserves support.
On the other hand, if he gets too much praise from ATD that will do his street cred on there no good at all.
Maybe the mods on here & the mods on pasoti could organise a joint poll on who should become or stay club President. |

| I think there are plenty of alternatives, just not anyone connected to the filthy, stinking evil cesspit known as Pasoti, that website is entwined with deceit, lies and corruption from top to bottom .
And i believe that you Knecht are its unofficial emissary on ATD. The sooner you are voted off as a moderator on here the better. |

So should the Club President role only affect online fans? Should it even 'represent' fans at all? It never used to, and certainly doesn't do so at other clubs. Man Utd have Charlton as their main dignitary. Ok, we don't have world cup winners, but we do have long serving players who's records as players here would be our equivalents. Tynan, LarryO, Evans...Surely with the PASB not to mention the Trust, we have enough representation without this nefarious loose cannon shouting his mouth off too? Webb should resign because he has become irreparably divisive, he has lied multiple times, and he was a complete sell-out taking the role on in the first place. Brent waited far too long to get rid of Clueless Carl for the shite on the pitch...how long has Dimwit Webb got before his number is up? |

| Mr P is obviously just a bit mischievous. He knows merely by coming over here and having a civil chat, that that will annoy some of his Pasoti detractors.
So purely for that alone, he gets a tick in the box.

| There's a couple of people on PASOTI that could have written that first sentence - just substitute 'ATD' for 'PASOTI'.

| Maybe we could develop a smiley that denotes playful irony....
I'd go back to the days when most of the fans didn't have a clue who The President was. I wonder if they do nowadays.
Maybe pasoti & ATD could create a questionnaire to distribute at the next home match? |

| I don't think ATD should ever exist to be of benefit to the club, Gob.
The irony is some of the Pasoti powerbrokers* are desperately trying to steer the masses in to singing from the James Brent book of Hymns.
They are desperate for Pasoti to be the Official sites doting lovechild.
*Mark pedlar excepted |

| ATD is what Pasoti used to be, hated by the club. Pasoti lost it's power when it became in the club's pocket and it was allowed to be used as a tool to drive people's personal ambition and ego's. Jones doesn't like us but hey, we don't like him much. Especially when he posts abuse from behind a pseudonym. I do it but i'm allowed, i'm not doing it at a paying customer of my club |

| I think certain people are getting a tad ahead of themselves if they believe that the Pasoti/ATD admin teams have any remit to help decide who the honorary club president should be.Pasoti has not changed at all and will not allow votes/discussion on such a subject. With my cynical head on, Mark could well be a stalking horse for the real farm controllers, in much the same way that Cerbs offered to do the same for us. After he'd given us 'news of his infiltration,he told us he might have to be more hostile to some of us to win the other side's confidence. If Mark is being genuine, his days as a farm mod may well and truly be numbered.
The reason Webb got the gig ,was obviously because he helped Brent acquire the club and Brent decided it was better to have his type on the inside kicking out, than the other way around. The same goes for Newell. The mistake he made was thinking they were going to help attendance figures through their peoples' champions status. Unless he's cut from the same cloth , he can't have known just how lacking in honesty and integrity they are and that eventually, even the dimmest would see through to their lust for control and personal position.
Having said that, we are where we are and I think everyone is tired of the fighting between fellow fans. It's not big, it's not clever and it does no one any credit. In reality it's quite sad that so many of us spend so much time over this ongoing feud. There is no doubt in my mind that both Ian Newell and Chris Webb are dedicated and committed Argyle fans, as are the other prominent figures with whom many of us have issues. The power of the internet to divide fans and make online enemies became evident to me and others when Pasoti decided to censor and silence certain legally held and presented viewpoints. Our views did not suit those with the finger on the ban button and that is where this all started. As the club lost Holloway and his team and began the slide into administration, the warnings we had provided became highlighted and the divide was complete. We were angry at being silenced and started to take the pi$$ even louder. The response was largely along the lines that we weren't proper fans anyway as most of us couldn't face watching many games, so we should just feck off and support Man U.The abuse from both sides escalated. The vacuum created by the farcical administration process, again showed the power of the internet and Pasoti was in the front line to 'save the club'. The rest is history. For whatever reasons, Brent was backed and acquired the club. Since then, many of the activists who supported his bid are either in positions of influence at HP or populate the tents and GT coaches and have achieved some sort of superfan status through their bucket rattling, flag waving and ever present profile at the club. The sinister side to all of this has been that these people and Pasoti have been unwilling to entertain any criticism and have actively and subversively undermined viewed threats to their wishes. This has led to all the Deepthroating , Windsor Boy deceptions and the webs of deceit all lead back to a small control group, which also still controls Pasoti. It has all gone too far to be sorted out by a friendly chat at the Cherry Tree, or anywhere else. What needs to happen is that the main protagonists need to step back. Chris needs to listen more and not impose his ideas/views. He is the honorary President and should be a uniting presence. By his close association with Ian he has adopted a controlling and confrontational stance, preferring to try to marginalise and silence critics rather than find common ground and follow democratic principles. Ian could stick to fund raising and giving deserving cases the Directors' Box experience. I don't want him removed. I just want him to stop all the crap and bullying.
Trying to dominate all things Argyle , from the supporters' groups and boards to popular opinion on the internet, will end with him losing all credibility.Everyone now knows the score now and they are fed up with all the divisive posturing surrounding him.
If these ideals were to occur, I would step back from criticising these people.I may not like the direction the club is taking but as long as I feel it is a level playing field and Pasoti in particular is not being controlled to only allow propaganda from one Politburo approved viewpoint, I personally will step back from the mudslinging.
I would like to post this on Pasoti too but am not allowed, which says it all, as things stand. How about posting it for me Mark ?
