| So have the other Greenmen come forward or are they leaving Postey and Webb to take the rap? |

Funnily enough no, nor has Tony Hooper had anything to say about his involvement or if it was more lies from Webb and Newell. Seems like REAL MATES don't consider Postey a good enough mate to ease his burden and help him sleep at night again. Looks like it's sleeping tablets again then Postey. |

| I feel for Postey. He more than any other individual act did more to save the club than anyone else and whilst others are swanning it in the directors box and living it up with meals with Z list celebritries he's confined to playing mod on Pasoti. |

| So the big changes on pasoti amount to Postey being the fall guy?
I remain with fingers crossed but realistically it seems that not a lot has changed at all. It's a shame. |

Wasn't he in the box away at Port Vale with the other hangers on? In any case until the 'others' come out of the wood work the case is live. |

| It seems to me that some want a clean slate but the majority involved don't.
I give credit to Mark for trying but until pasoti washes it's dirty linen it's pretty pointless attempting to heal the rift by commenting on ATD when the power of persuasion needs to be levered on pasoti.
I really do wish that Webb would back up his threats of legal action so that we can finally get the media coverage that this squalid mess deserves and highlight the issues such as Jock's fun and games etc.

| Thanks to Mark P, Ade and John Lloyd for their contributions on this thread. There's angst on both sides- a lot of ATD-ers (in our opinion) have been unfairly banned and I can appreciate that the Pasoti Mods do not appreciate the comments coming from myself and others on their forum (some I think are fair, some are over the top). This thread shows that decent debate can be held, but some will still hold grudges against the "other side". I like the democratic nature of this site and the loose moderation- others abhor this about ATD and would prefer a more heavy handed moderation style (but as with Argyle its all about opinions). I've been a Mod since last April and it has opened my eyes to a lot of things. I'm looking forward to the next elections (April/ May) so somebody else has a chance to moderate - I'm hoping its an easier 12 months than Knecht, Charlie and myself have had (and latterly YM and MOG)- our first baptism was the fall out from the first ATD election. The site has grown (and not all new accounts are multis!) and I think is at a good size, considering the size of pasoti- but we still get criticised by the bitter (you know who you are ) about the numbers on ATD, but I consider them in the same class that beat rival fans up about attendance figures despite the club being near the bottom of the league- i.e. dickheads. I was IP banned from pasoti (I have the screenshot to prove it) and to be honest I don't think I'd want to return if there were any sort of amnesty. I hadn't posted on the site for over 2 months so it was obviously a personal banning. I also think some would oppose my unbanning which I can understand. |

Pasoti isn't for me either now that ATD has become quite a powerful voice, but I respect the will of others that wish to use pasoti. I see pasoti as the club's lab dog and that's fair enough for pasoti, where as ATD is a more traditional type fans site where views can be expressed without the fear of picking up a ban. Pasoti also has a "use pasoti and no other or we don't want you" culture and they have even given bans to some that use other sites, where as the culture of ATD is that nobody gives a toss what site you are a user of. Is there room for both? - Who really cares. |

| A few people have mentioned in various posts a wish for "moving forward" if that means a fundamental change in ATD's outlook then I for one don't think it's a good idea I like the idea of this site being a thorn in the side off those that seek positions through being devious shits and also of owners who do not have Argyle in their hearts. Any attempt at pasotifaction (good word?) should be resisted |

"You're not welcome here" I believe were the words used.
If Pasoti is to change, that culture needs to be removed. |

Any attempt at pasotifaction (good word?) should be resisted There are those who would like ATD to be 'a nice little forum'. Get rid of Tringy, Rickler an GOB they said. Trouble is, the numbers of dissenters has grown. The ATD constitution and Keyholders will ensure ATD keeps its identity as an open forum, where freedom of expression is a must for all users within the law. By 'moving on', I think they mean, 'Let's forget all this nonsense, sweep it under the carpet til the next time. We don't do democracy. We are terrified of losing our mod positions.' It's all so Animal Farm but they just can't see it. |

If Pasoti is to change, that culture needs to be removed. Frank would not acquiesce to suggestions/demands from . As a forum leader and upholder of personal liberties, he is the rock of ATD. |

| I think there are two things that Mark has pointed out that will prevent any form of reconciliation:
1) Newll remains with influence in the pasoti mod room.
and
2) Newell's influence in the pasoti mod room is strong enough to sway the decisions of the moderators and an example of this is again how Mark described when he stated that although Newell has broken many pasoti rules, he wasn't voted off pasoti.
My view is that nothing has changed on pasoti and despite Mark's best efforts nothing can change on pasoti.
Whilst the above regime holds such a powerful hold over pasoti I can see no way of any type of reconciliation and both ATD and Pasoti will pull in different directions. Pasoti will continue to breed a culture of self interest and ATD will continue to oppose that culture making any kind of common ground incredibly difficult to find.
Despite ATD being considerably the smaller of the two sites Pasoti has taken a hell of a beating simply because the culture of Pasoti is not palatable to most people and fans.
Maybe ATD can step into the culture that Pasoti once had or maybe it already has, either way Pasoti needs a reconciliation far more than ATD and it must be for Pasoti to change its ethics and show that it has before it will gain much sympathy from the site that has gone from 15 users to 438 in a matter of months.
That said, talk is the way forward, I just hope that Mark can walk the talk. Time will tell.

| Pasoti is a happy clappy load of nonsense run by wankers for the club as a mouthpiece for a property developer owner. Why does it need to change? Everybody knows that Newell and Webb and Postey are manipulative liars, they and pasoti have very little or no credibility left and this is a good site, feck them. |
