Westons Vintage is the Lionel Messi of Ciderworld. Quite how thay can produce something at 8.2% volume, and have it taste as good as it does, is sheer genius.

Where did u see that offer Jock? I've just been on Asders site and it's not on there. Crying or Very sad

Bananas. Bought them today.

In other news, I'm seeking a statistician. I want to know what the likelihood is that my home phone number is easier to misdial than any other phone number in the whole world. I swear nobody gets as many wrong number calls as I do.

I also share a bit of JonB's foul mood. Still pretty angry, obviously, plus some humourless bastards have managed to get the Narnia taken off the iconic Totnes sign.

Henry Westons 8.2% Cider on offer in Asda, 4 for £5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately no Nectar points and it means risking being served by one of Honey Monsters ugly sisters, they all work there, but how can you turn that down?

4 bottles of Henry Westons and you're telling your partner you love them, 6 bottles and you could propose if not already hitched, and 8 bottles of Henry Westons will get you interested in the PASB drunken

I'm taking this info with a pinch of salt because I went to my local kwop when you said your's was doing HW Vintage at 2 for £3, mine was selling them for £2 each (although 15p cheaper than Sainsburys). Hopefully Asda won't be a LET-DOWN!

PS I like my Tivo box and had to delete a lot of old films this week as it was at 92%

On Asders site, they're priced at £1.64 a bottle. Still damn good value, but 4 for £5 is tempting me to pop up there tomorrow.

Only problem is I'm convinced Jeremy Kyle get their guests and audience solely from Asda shoppers (along with Tesco Transit Way) so I'm not sure I can mix with such ruffians.

Well my Asda has them in a big promotion, along with loads of other bottled ciders and beers. I've tried the Asda website and it shows others beers in the promotion, but only 3, and doesn't show Henry Weston's at all. It's definitely there guys, I have the blurred vision to prove it Very Happy

lol!

That thicko at the front of the queue is a media student, so unless he is particularly dense, (you can pre-order it, and have it delivered to your door on the day of release) he's just another dweeb that craves attention.

Had a strange and trying day today, with occasional highlights. Such as bumping into Andy S. And calling somebody Kev when his name's Rich.

Looks like I'm going to run out of milk over the weekend. I just can't seem to synchronise it with other essential shopping items.

Unless you intend to stay awake, cuppa not a good idea in the early hours, caffine keeps you awake and drink means more ablutions, water is a better bet.

Subject: Water in YOU is important

Heart

Attack and Water - I never knew this !Interesting.......

Heart Attack & Water

Something I didn't know either!

I asked my Doctor why do I and other people urinate so much at night time.

Answer from my Cardiac Doctor:

Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body

when you are upright (legs swell).

When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc.) seeks level with the kidneys,

it is then that the kidneys remove the water

because it is easier.

This then ties in with the last statement!

I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me.

Correct time to drink water ...

Very Important. From A Cardiac Specialist!

Drinking water at a certain time

maximizes its effectiveness on the body:

2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

Please pass this to the people you care about.

I can also add to this.

My Physician told me that water at bed time

will also help prevent night time leg cramps.

Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.

#1 son's 5th Birthday party today. took advantage of my Green+ membership to use the players lounge at Home Park. it was either that or let 20 hyperactive shortarses having a sugar-rush trash my place .

Anyhoo, the club did a top job - lovely food and drink for the hobbits, and they were taken on a tour of the ground by the poor unfortunate tasked with looking after the party (Andrew Bradford, I salute you!) - see my facebook page for photographic evidence, including #1 son sitting in Fletcher's spot in the home dug-out. I think he's after his job.

A really enjoyable day for kids and adults alike. Too often the good things the club does can be lost amongst the criticism on here, but today was a brilliant experience for a big group of kids and a group of big kids!!! sunny

Saw others in the 4 for £5 deal with promo shelf tickets (which HW did not have)- didn't ask just assumed it was a regional promotion.
