Saturday: went to the zoo. Rubbish weather. Sunday: wanted to go for a long walk. Rubbish weather. Monday: stuck indoors doing a bit of paid work (it happens). Lovely weather.
Macaroni cheese for tea tonight.

17:00 it's dark outside. 17:01 Responded to thread on ATD. 17:02 Tommy came upstairs to change out of his school clothes. 17:04 Mundane thread. 17:05 Fireworks have started and just been called downstairs by missus. This could be something interesting. 17:07 Had to taste the bolognese "not enough salt" I said.
I had Spagetti Bolognese tonight too. I wasn't aware just how bad this type of meal is for you.
A 100g serving of mince has 45% of my recommended saturated fat intake for the day.
Where do they get these 'serving' portion sizes from? 100g may constitute a 'serving' for a chronic anorexic, or a 6yr old child. But a natural athlete like myself can't get by on titbits.
I probably stuffed 60% of the 500g of meat. So I managed to use up 135% of my recommended sat fat allowance for the day - in one meal.
Lit the cooker this morning and all the smoke came out of the fire box- I had to clean the flue out. After this I realised I hadn't done this for months. The cooker is now working very well again.
I know. Anybody with a millilitre of human blood in them is angry.
I went on an 'understanding anger' course once - not anger management (which, amazingly given my feelings today, I don't need), but how to deal with clients and the like who get angry. They taught us that anger isn't an emotion, but a secondary response, or energy.
All the way home I had Jon Lydon on repeat in my head.

Delivery day for the new Washing Machine. According to the online delivery tracker, it'll be here between 12.35pm and 4.35pm. So until then, you're all lumbered with me, unless I decide to read a book.

I was going to start listening to Radio 4 instead of 5Live in the mornings (or, to be specific, after 7am) today. I forgot.

New Virgin Tivo box today. "we'll phone you an hour before the engineer arrives" they said. Nipped out for 20 minutes safe in the knowledge I have enough time. Arrived home to find a "sorry we missed you" card in the letterbox. Darn it. If I'd stayed in all day you can guarantee he would have got here as close to 5pm as possible.

Barely worth powering it up tho' chingers, if ur only gonna pair it with an LG, innit?
I've got a beautiful telly. Everybody who comes here comments on it. One of these, except mine hasn't got 'front view' written underneath it:
Shame there's so little worth watching on it.
(The Killing 3 starts soon, mind, which is very exciting.)

Yeah, I've thrown it out because of the shame. I'm just using the Panasonic Holographic TV now. It's well sick!

Henry Westons 8.2% Cider on offer in Asda, 4 for £5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately no Nectar points and it means risking being served by one of Honey Monsters ugly sisters, they all work there, but how can you turn that down?
4 bottles of Henry Westons and you're telling your partner you love them, 6 bottles and you could propose if not already hitched, and 8 bottles of Henry Westons will get you interested in the PASB
