Had to pop to Tragoes for some extra long screws. |

| Dear oh dear, it can't get much more mundane and suburban than you last three.... the only thing missing is a Plympton lawnmower. It all feels a bit like Donnie Darko before it all goes haywire. Watch out for the wabbit, that's all I can say |

| Well I made the best of the beautiful weather this morning by getting out of the house and going over to Mount Edgecumbe for a long walk. Catching the ferry back in time to get some chips in Elviras before they closed, naturally.
Need to go to the post office tomorrow. And to get milk and bananas. |

| Went to a garden centre all day Well they had cider tasting (tried 11 different varities ) and was going to say thanks but I won't buy any but Kaz said I was being tight and bought 3 bottles! The kids played on mini tractors and had a go at pressing apples, and there was a free hog roast Could have had a totally free day there but we did buy some refreshments. A small bottle of ginger beer £2.95 and no nectar points! A cup of coffee cost £2.45 and tasted exactly the same as a 99p cup of coffee. |

| Madigan?
Marked a lovely day by getting up late, having a very late/breakfast with my daughter/saying what a lovely day it was/driving her to the station/having a freezer curry with a variety of drinks/having some more drinks with chocolate and listening to David Sedaris as well as various music from youtube. And soon to bed...... |

| Did I mention that I got a pair of AKG 451 headphones for my birthday?
Although is touch expensive for the 'budget' tag they've been given, they are quite brilliant.
And they fold up for travel.
Richer Sounds have them at almost half the price of John Lewis... |

| If you look at my house on Google maps, you can see me looking at the Street View car like a slack-jawed yokel.....
Car with a camera on the roof.....what will they think of next?
Privacy-invading gits.

| Sometimes I go through phases where life is in repeat mode. I had to go out this evening: saw a cat sitting by the road on the way there, and saw another cat sitting by another road on the way home.
Also, I keep encountering the word 'paradigm'. |

| Took my mum for her flu jab today. They also gave her a pneumonia jab.
She was a bit wobbly after, bless her. |

| Thought I was going out tonight and would be in a hurry so bought a shop curry. The curry was boring and the evening cancelled.
That's life. |

| Im having trouble with stew lately. Can't seem to get the stock right. I used to use Oxo (3 beef cubes and 1 veg = 4) Then someone recommended the Knorr stock cubes. This is where the trouble started. Oxo recommend 190ml of water per cube, which I'd say is about right. But Knorr recommend 450ml per cube - and the cubes are similar size. I think Knorr are taking the piss. One cube in 450 ml of water does not a lot, except turn the water a slightly dirty colour. |
