My question to Mr Brent in case I cannot make it in person would be. ... Think I'd better have my tea before going to this meeting - it'll be a bit late to eat when I get home, won't it? Speaking purely for myself, I'd have no problem with people bringing children with them if childcare's the only thing preventing them from attending. And if Jock brings his little one, I can have a cuddle. With the baby, you sad wossnames. |

There is the option of putting on a buffet on the night. The club charge from £5 per head, so I would imagine a £100 outlay would provide us with a decent feed. What are everybody's thoughts? Worth doing? I don't mind paying initially for a buffet, but -'d ask for a small donation, just so I'm not left totally out of pocket |

| Andy,
Have worked out an itinerary and can say that we'll definately be there.
Happy to pay for buffet. I'm not a meat eater so if there could be cheese/fishy stuff I'd be happy. Scottish wife is a carnivore so normal stuff for her.
Thanks again for organising the session.

My question to Mr Brent in case I cannot make it in person would be.
Mr Brent. I am sure that you are aware of Pasoti as a supporters website, and I understand that the Club President has made you aware of Argyle Talk Democratic. I would like to know what kind of posts Chris Webb showed you from ATD, and whether it was a fair reflection of the site now that you have had a chance to meet some of us?
I would also like you to be made aware of some of the dirty tricks that have been carried out against ATD by people closely involved in the club. Ian Newell has admitted setting up a spoof website, Argyle Democratic Talk, where some rather unsavoury parodies of ATD posters were created. Insinuations of paedophillia being one of the worst. Showing a picture of a swimming pig and saying it was a photograph of an ATD members wife.
Now you will have been made aware of some of the forthright views held by some of us on here, and the fact that there is an awful lot of animosity between members of ATD and Pasoti. I am not stupid enough to suggest that all of the problems have come from ATD, and I can hold my hand up and say that I have been one of the most vociferous ATD members in my views of certain influential Pasoti users, due to a rather unsavoury incident where I was set up by Mr Ian Newell, which he admitted himself was involving somebody that he was frightened of and that was the reason he used me to name this person online, so that he did not have to put himself in danger, but didn't mind placing me in the same position, and I am the father of a 1 year old child.
ATD posters have been made to feel like lepers by the Club President, who refused to post whatsoever at one stage, and often still posts updates on Pasoti, such as the request for votes in the Miss Devon contest, that an Argyle staff member has entered, and the Fan of the Year award that Sue Pollard deservedly won for all her endeavours.
Chris Webb has asked the moderators on ATD for assistance because his I.P. address was giving him problems trying to post on here, but when pressed for his I.P. address so that the situation could be looked at, he has flatly refused. The overwhelming belief on ATD is that Chris Webb has been involved in some of the dirty tricks and attacks on this site and it's members, and by supplying his I.P. address, this could be proved. There is also a suggestion, and not just from ATD members, that Chris Webb has been involved in the recent incident which led to the resignation of the Trust Chairman, again Chris has steadfastly refused to comment on these suggestions, further fuelling the suspicions of some people.
This has been more of a statement than a question I suppose, but I would like to know what your views are on my comments, as Argyle Talk Democratic memebrs include several season ticket holders, trust members and volunteers and lifelong Argyle fans who have become so disillusioned with this behaviour that they no longer attend games. Everybody is aware of the fantastic work that both Chris and Ian have carried out in the past, that is not being questioned, it is the feeling that we are not wanted as Argyle fans because we do not blindly follow what these people tell us to.
Chris has also been asked by another Argyle fan's forum, Not606, to post updates as he seems to only favour Pasoti, but again he refuses to even recognise that site.
It does appear to an awful lot of people that they are not welcome as Argyle fans, because of the behaviour of these two prominent Argyle fans. The suggestion is that we are not "real fans" a phrase used on many occasions by Ian Newell.
I would like to know if this is the type of thing you had in mind when appointing Chris Webb as the Club President?
Thank you for your time.
Pete Gordon, attended first Argyle match in 1983 and have attended in excess of 150 games home and away in that time. Andy, whatever you do don't let GJ or anyone read that one out first or it will be end of the session when they are finshed!! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Don't suppose an articulate, tall, dark , handsome, smartly attired City fan would be welcome? Don't woryy I am washing my hair on Wednesday 2nd. That said I would probably we more welcome than any Deep Throat, IJN Poodle or Windsor Boy. I am certain my contribution would add more value to Agyle than any of the reprobates mentioned.

| many thanks to andy for organising this i don't think i will be able to make it so if somebody could ask the following questions for me please?.
when pcc introduced you to argyle was the pavillions development and relocation of the ice rink mentioned to you. if threre were no redevelopment possibilities would you still of bought the club
if the lobby for safe terracing is ever succesful would you consider having a standing area at home park
finally do you think that you as the owner and the club need to distance themselves from some supporters as they are harming your personal and the clubs reputation.
