| Possibly.
Not sure what I would get out of it to be honest. I don't really have any questions for JB. Apart from the usual 'Who will be the manager in August?' 'How much is the playing budget going to be next season?'
Both of which he will dodge with a load of flannel as you would expect. I'm not expecting too many straight answers to be honest. |

| I haven't got much in the way of hair Cerbera. Can I come and give you a hand with your's?
This is indeed good news for those who have questions they feel need an answer that would not have been provided elsewhere or even asked. It's a great pity that the original question and answer session could not have been all inclusive in the first place and that "The President" did not think he should treat all subject equally. But, at least this can be a Q and A that isn't hijacked by the gag gang. |

I am well aware of what time I joined, thank you. (Your original post has no connection to me joining) I thought your original post mentioned members of this site up to the date of the meeting. Clearly, I was mistaken. |

I'll pretend you never said it. Funny I've never seen you and Greensam ever post at the same time, Pete.
Ah no, Penz, they're two different people entirely. Both would be welcome at the Q&A. How about it, pete and Sam? Correct Andy, in fact me and PP are having a good laugh about it on facebook now that we were considered one and the same. I've never got involved in any of this muck chucking on either side so I really don't see why again my names been dragged into it again. As for the Q&A, I'd love to Andy but unfortunately have to be in Southampton for Uni classes. If I think of a question, I'll ask one on here though. |

| Well done for arranging this Andy. It is about time the good guys were given some oxygen ! As I can't be there in person I'd love to be able to ask a question of Mr Brent through your good self. In addition, it has occurred to me that this idea of the face to face meeting, rather than the online Q&A, was suggested by Rickler [see below] and it would be appropriate if Nigel is awarded the honour of asking the first question, all the way from LA [quote="Rickler"] - Andy_Symons wrote:
- When I spoke to Rick Cowdery last week, he said that the ATD Q&A with James Brent would have to wait until after the answers to the pasoti Q&A session had been published; very sensibly, in my view, done in order to avoid repetition of questions.
Hopefully, now the pasoti session is in the public domain, we'll be able to move forward with our questions to the owner, so please try, when deciding upon questions to ask, to come up with something original for Mr Brent. As soon as I hear from JB or Rick I will of course get the ball rolling, and I look forward to ATD being afforded the same courtesy and respect that has been shown to pasoti. I know ATD posters will provide tough questions for Mr Brent, but I also know they'll be intelligent, thoughtful and respectful, too. How about a different approach? It must have taken hours for Brent and others to sift through those questions and answer them all. How about ATD'rs meet Brent in a pub for an hour. Real fans meeting and all that. Looking into the whites of his eyes etc, etc. This way he doesn't get to 'prepare' answers, and those posing the questions would get the chance to follow up on the answers he gave. Someone could tape it and throw it up on youtube for all of us that are unable to attend. It would take up a lot less of Brent's time and I am sure more enjoyable for him than sitting typing enless responses to the same question asked five different ways. Addes to that... He would get to meet ATD'rs and realise we are not freaks or vile scum, but just normal concerned fans and if he needed further persuasion.. I'll pick up his bar bill. Win - Win! |

Correct Andy, in fact me and PP are having a good laugh about it on facebook now that we were considered one and the same. They obviously don't graft on a sense of humour these days in Southampton ? It was only friendly joshing ... I am quite aware of the difference between the footie organiser and Ponty's protege. I was of course referring to the rather 'peas in a pod' tint on all things green you two youngsters have always shared. Think I'll retire again, and mourn the loss of nuance in today's online youth. |

| Have PM'd Andy and explained that circumstances permitting myself and" Scottish wife" will be there. May well be visiting relatives in Cornwall, but will hopefully make the session.
Looking forward to meeting all who make it.

| I'm actually thinking about making it along now. Need to sort out childcare, but the more I see and hear lately, the more angry I am with the people involved in Argyle.
My question to Mr Brent in case I cannot make it in person would be.
Mr Brent. I am sure that you are aware of Pasoti as a supporters website, and I understand that the Club President has made you aware of Argyle Talk Democratic. I would like to know what kind of posts Chris Webb showed you from ATD, and whether it was a fair reflection of the site now that you have had a chance to meet some of us?
I would also like you to be made aware of some of the dirty tricks that have been carried out against ATD by people closely involved in the club. Ian Newell has admitted setting up a spoof website, Argyle Democratic Talk, where some rather unsavoury parodies of ATD posters were created. Insinuations of paedophillia being one of the worst. Showing a picture of a swimming pig and saying it was a photograph of an ATD members wife.
Now you will have been made aware of some of the forthright views held by some of us on here, and the fact that there is an awful lot of animosity between members of ATD and Pasoti. I am not stupid enough to suggest that all of the problems have come from ATD, and I can hold my hand up and say that I have been one of the most vociferous ATD members in my views of certain influential Pasoti users, due to a rather unsavoury incident where I was set up by Mr Ian Newell, which he admitted himself was involving somebody that he was frightened of and that was the reason he used me to name this person online, so that he did not have to put himself in danger, but didn't mind placing me in the same position, and I am the father of a 1 year old child.
ATD posters have been made to feel like lepers by the Club President, who refused to post whatsoever at one stage, and often still posts updates on Pasoti, such as the request for votes in the Miss Devon contest, that an Argyle staff member has entered, and the Fan of the Year award that Sue Pollard deservedly won for all her endeavours.
Chris Webb has asked the moderators on ATD for assistance because his I.P. address was giving him problems trying to post on here, but when pressed for his I.P. address so that the situation could be looked at, he has flatly refused. The overwhelming belief on ATD is that Chris Webb has been involved in some of the dirty tricks and attacks on this site and it's members, and by supplying his I.P. address, this could be proved. There is also a suggestion, and not just from ATD members, that Chris Webb has been involved in the recent incident which led to the resignation of the Trust Chairman, again Chris has steadfastly refused to comment on these suggestions, further fuelling the suspicions of some people.
This has been more of a statement than a question I suppose, but I would like to know what your views are on my comments, as Argyle Talk Democratic memebrs include several season ticket holders, trust members and volunteers and lifelong Argyle fans who have become so disillusioned with this behaviour that they no longer attend games. Everybody is aware of the fantastic work that both Chris and Ian have carried out in the past, that is not being questioned, it is the feeling that we are not wanted as Argyle fans because we do not blindly follow what these people tell us to.
Chris has also been asked by another Argyle fan's forum, Not606, to post updates as he seems to only favour Pasoti, but again he refuses to even recognise that site.
It does appear to an awful lot of people that they are not welcome as Argyle fans, because of the behaviour of these two prominent Argyle fans. The suggestion is that we are not "real fans" a phrase used on many occasions by Ian Newell.
I would like to know if this is the type of thing you had in mind when appointing Chris Webb as the Club President?
Thank you for your time.
Pete Gordon, attended first Argyle match in 1983 and have attended in excess of 150 games home and away in that time.
