| Cerbs is correct in that Chris Webb isn't an employee of the club, a bit like the Windsors aren't employed to be the Royal Family. |

He holds an honorary position of President. There is no financial reward as far as I know. He might have considerably more access to things than us mere mortals though. A season ticket is financial reward. |

| I would ask mr Brent are you aware that a member of the cp group and someone who believes himself to be close to you has published sensitive information on a image hosting website and is viewable to the public. The files include text messages from yourself, a request to hack someone's email account , sensitive medical information and other personal information. How do you feel about this? I expect it's covered elsewhere though, good luck. |

Not from what I have seen, it hasn't? Andy... From the questions you have received from those unable to attend, have any been directed at the issues regarding Ian Newell and Chris Webb? |

Andy... From the questions you have received from those unable to attend, have any been directed at the issues regarding Ian Newell and Chris Webb? My question might have covered it. My question to Mr Brent in case I cannot make it in person would be. Mr Brent. I am sure that you are aware of Pasoti as a supporters website, and I understand that the Club President has made you aware of Argyle Talk Democratic. I would like to know what kind of posts Chris Webb showed you from ATD, and whether it was a fair reflection of the site now that you have had a chance to meet some of us? I would also like you to be made aware of some of the dirty tricks that have been carried out against ATD by people closely involved in the club. Ian Newell has admitted setting up a spoof website, Argyle Democratic Talk, where some rather unsavoury parodies of ATD posters were created. Insinuations of paedophillia being one of the worst. Showing a picture of a swimming pig and saying it was a photograph of an ATD members wife. Now you will have been made aware of some of the forthright views held by some of us on here, and the fact that there is an awful lot of animosity between members of ATD and Pasoti. I am not stupid enough to suggest that all of the problems have come from ATD, and I can hold my hand up and say that I have been one of the most vociferous ATD members in my views of certain influential Pasoti users, due to a rather unsavoury incident where I was set up by Mr Ian Newell, which he admitted himself was involving somebody that he was frightened of and that was the reason he used me to name this person online, so that he did not have to put himself in danger, but didn't mind placing me in the same position, and I am the father of a 1 year old child. ATD posters have been made to feel like lepers by the Club President, who refused to post whatsoever at one stage, and often still posts updates on Pasoti, such as the request for votes in the Miss Devon contest, that an Argyle staff member has entered, and the Fan of the Year award that Sue Pollard deservedly won for all her endeavours. Chris Webb has asked the moderators on ATD for assistance because his I.P. address was giving him problems trying to post on here, but when pressed for his I.P. address so that the situation could be looked at, he has flatly refused. The overwhelming belief on ATD is that Chris Webb has been involved in some of the dirty tricks and attacks on this site and it's members, and by supplying his I.P. address, this could be proved. There is also a suggestion, and not just from ATD members, that Chris Webb has been involved in the recent incident which led to the resignation of the Trust Chairman, again Chris has steadfastly refused to comment on these suggestions, further fuelling the suspicions of some people. This has been more of a statement than a question I suppose, but I would like to know what your views are on my comments, as Argyle Talk Democratic memebrs include several season ticket holders, trust members and volunteers and lifelong Argyle fans who have become so disillusioned with this behaviour that they no longer attend games. Everybody is aware of the fantastic work that both Chris and Ian have carried out in the past, that is not being questioned, it is the feeling that we are not wanted as Argyle fans because we do not blindly follow what these people tell us to. Chris has also been asked by another Argyle fan's forum, Not606, to post updates as he seems to only favour Pasoti, but again he refuses to even recognise that site. It does appear to an awful lot of people that they are not welcome as Argyle fans, because of the behaviour of these two prominent Argyle fans. The suggestion is that we are not "real fans" a phrase used on many occasions by Ian Newell. I would like to know if this is the type of thing you had in mind when appointing Chris Webb as the Club President? Thank you for your time. Pete Gordon, attended first Argyle match in 1983 and have attended in excess of 150 games home and away in that time. _________________ In 1990 Marathon became Snickers. In 2000 Jif became Cif. You have the screenshots as back up don't you whilst Andy is keen not to develop this into PASOTI v ATD pettiness you shouldn't avoid the issues that concern you. It's the whole point of meeting him. |

| If I was Brent I don't know if I'd pay too much attention to squabbling website factions, a curse on both their houses would probably be my response. A more interesting question would be the whole area of fan engagement and the dangers of small factions or cliques vying for influence and destabilising any notions of unity.
I would like to ask him if he can find any fault with this statement posted by our Gullish friend Merse on the GASboard thred :-
"There's nothing like having an ownership who realise that the whole purpose of the exercise should be to set up an administration with the specific focus of setting up and maintaining an infrastructure with the ability to achieve the appointment of a competent management structure to put together a fit for purpose squad of players who will win football matches."
Andy has done wonderfully well to organise this opportunity to quiz JB. I suggest we don't waste the chance to ask the serious searching questions about how the club will go forward and not become obsessed with the "Miss they're being horrible to us" stuff.

However.... If the situation isn't discussed thoroughly, then ATD will (rightfully) be accused of being the biggest bunch of Keyboard warriors ever. I suggest a five or ten minute period half way through where the subject is dealt with.. Not at the beginning as that could set a bad tone and not at the end so everyone leaves with a bad taste in the mouth. But surely the situation has to be brought into the open and discussed? |

A speech that mirrors what the Pasoti mods are trying to do right now. Forget everything, brush it under the carpet, pretend none of it ever happened are you gonna let that happen Greenjock ? If you mean at the meeting, then I won't be there. I live a fair distance away and wouldn't make it back home the same night. If you mean will I let everything be swept under the carpet, then my view is that Argyle's fanbase is divided at the moment and I don't feel as though I'm welcome as an Argyle fan. The Club President is hardly acting very presidential, and along with his best mates, seems to be James Brent's mouthpiece and will do anything to ensure that Mr Brent has free reign to do whatever he wants without question. There seems to be a strong anti-Trust feeling within these superfans, a view that is echoed on Pasoti which is like it or not, the largest Argyle Internet forum and very impressionable. While this behaviour goes on then I will keep voicing my opinion and trying to ensure that as many people as possible get to know what these people are trying to do. Chris Webb was once the loudest voice for The Trust, and would have been slamming the actions of people that we have seen recently, and would have been horrified that Pasoti was condoning the behaviour and covering it up. Now he's part of the establishment and part of the dirty tricks that have been evident to try and silence any dissenting voices. So No if there's anything I can do about it I won't let it happen. |

| I too think there should be a specific slot for putting our case re the skulduggery now exposed on Pasoti, with reference to their character assassinations of ATD.
Whilst Mr Brent will not wish to be embroiled in forum wars he does need to be made aware of our standpoint.
Maybe a statement delivered rather than a 'Question', pointing out how much we DO want Argyle to succeed but that many have been embittered because of the controlling actions of Pasoti.
I'm more than happy to write said statement in no more than 200 words !
He doesn't have to answer but needs to hear the truth.
He is not stupid and probably has already sussed the 'nature' of his generals. He needs to be shown that there are some articulate and 'educated w@nkers' in the Argyle fanbase, who will not be told what to think, say and do by the ambitious dimwits now being exposed. |

Well thank you dear boy. Perhaps others could comment so that the membership is heard, one way or another and then acted upon. This meeting belongs to our members, not individuals, as does this forum. |

| Blimey, so many questions. right, here goes:
- James Brent won't be on his own, two other Club representatives will be with him. I've told his PA that he won't need minders or a security detail; the two others are NOT Chris Webb and Ian Newell.
- Chris Webb is an eligible ATD member. If he wishes to attend all he has to do is PM me and his name will go on the list. He hasn't, and in true Doorman tradition, if your name's not down, you're not coming in.
- Ian Newell is not an eligible ATD member. If he does turn up and try to get in, the refusal to allow him admission will be one further embarrassment to add to all the others he's had to deal with lately.
- I'm going to be working my way through all the threads and PM's today to compile the list of questions from exiles and others who can't be there. I'm sure the Webb/Newell/Flickr problems will get an airing, and I'm sure that Mr Brent is expecting it. However, like so many others have said, this is a golden opportunity to quiz Mr Brent about the club, and also a chance to demonstrate how much we all care about PAFC. Let's not waste it by getting bogged down in a 'site war'. Ian Newell's emails to the club trying to get this Q&A stopped show the depths he was prepared to stoop to to prevent this site from doing its own thing. Let's try and rise above that sort of behaviour. If I have one wish from Wednesday night, it's that JB leaves the Cherry Tree knowing that what he's been told about how 'vile' we are, and how we're 'trying to damage the club' is just a pack of lies.
- The Q&A can be attended by anyone who was an ATD member on or before the date and time of my original post on this thread. This was agreed upon by the Mods as we didn't want a flood of new members who only signed up to try and disrupt the evening. Of course, since then we have had a flood of new members, but for a completely different reason. Any of those new members who want to pose a question, put it on here and it will be asked, unedited, at the meeting. A full report-back will be made available as soon as is practical after the meeting. Don't be too harsh on me if it takes a little while to get the write-up done, I'm a busy boy.
- I don't want to come across as too 'controlling' or 'dictatorial' but I will need any questions or requests for attendance to be with me by Monday night, purely so I've got time to put everything together in time. I work long hours, and don't usually get home til 9pm, so my spare time between now and the Q&A is limited. Help and co-operation on this would be hugely appreciated.
- Don't forget it's now at The Cherry Tree, Ham Drive, at 7pm on Wednesday. I'll be speaking with them to finalise a buffet for the evening. A small contribution to the cost of that would be appreciated.

| It will be interesting to see how he feels about it, if anything at all. Im sure he's been briefed by the very people we're talking about, so if anyone has saved screenshots of the worst stuff like the text to sabotage ricklers email account, the blank canvas of the adt site, the evidence of the trust being undermined by deep throat etc. That would be hard to ignore. |

| I really don't think he'll want to get embroiled in site wars. Just deliver a well constructed statement, outlining the story and recent revelations and leave it at that. His secretary has already indicated that he doesn't want to get involved. |
