Sounds reassurringly vague enough to suggest she's not going to be given anything importnat to do. Not a bad piece as it goes, no great surprises but free of Brents dire business waffle. I'm hopeful he will eb a massive improvement |

| Simon Hallett if the Grandstand mankover is going broadly to plan why did Darren Dulling the Planning Technical Supervisor of Strategic Planning and Infrastructure at Plymouth City Council advise yesterday at 11.44am via email that planning conditions are STILL not completed and are and I quote " still currently pending consideration"
Mr Hallett....?? |

Mr Hallett....?? Wouldn't that come under the 'broadly' spectrum if it were just something fairly trivial to be signed off? |

Wouldn't that come under the 'broadly' spectrum if it were just something fairly trivial to be signed off? No idea but if it was trivial why has it been outstanding since December last year. Christ the club were given special permission to install the Portacabins club shop when was that June July ?? Despite what Bungo claims they were told to stop working on them Brent and Hallett are pushing the boundaries and PCC aint having it. |

| What a load of old w a n k. No improvement in budget, the refurb is going great, no mention of our league position, doesn't give a toss if stewards throw people out for standing but allow others to stand, drink alcohol and smoke in the Lyndhurst End and of course no action for any away fans standing throughout the game while 50 yards away home fans are being thrown out and banned for doing the same thing. More worried about the wimmins team by the sounds of it. Well sorry Mr Hallett but the ladies team are not Plymouth Argyle and what they do has feck all to do with the actual club who are currently sitting in the relegation zone. 50 lucky punters might get a pre poured pint at half time though yippee |

| I think I preferred the Silent Si routine. Looks like, sounds like, smells like Brent 2, with a bigger pocket to bill the club with. The wimmin thing is beginning to sound a bit weird. Can I just ask what "good work" the "ladies" wimmin do who play football ? They're just gals playing footy, bless 'em. Any attempt to make footy players sound like angels is just bullshit. If this is the criteria, I do good work every time I put 5p in the corner shop box. No comments about the mankover, because basically it's his plan as much as it's brent's |

Anyone else laughed when they read that I did. I think the new Chairman may have a sense of humour. As far as the rest of it goes, nothing earth shattering one way or the other. Though there was more insight in a few paragraphs into the powers that be and their roles, than has been forthcoming from the old regime in 7 years. Something else potentially interesting though.... We did not discuss at this Board meeting plans to increase the football budget in January, which, naturally, many fans are asking for. This hopefully suggests firstly that it WILL be discussed at the next one. Also that there hopefully IS a plan. |

| To me the Jan budget bit read like there are no plans to increase the Jan budget unless DA asks for more money - which he won't. |

Yep, nice touch from Si. If the budget's crap, it's all Del's fault. God bless the board, the chairman of the bored. |

| For me a lot will hinge on what actually happens in the January window. If the budget isn’t expanded then that will be a red flag moment. |

| "Improving the matchday experience" seems to be all the rage atm. Call me old fashioned, but I thought the game on the pitch was the matchday experience? Who goes to a football match because the beer's good or they like the prematch music?
Bit like going to a swinger's party 'cos they've got a nice 3 piece suite (not speaking from experience btw) |
