he is a specialist in failure yet still gets to be council leader time after time!!!!! whether brexit has the best deal ever or not he will still cut services and blame everyone else. |

| Fascinating seeing the Westminster English frantically trying to find the way to give the Irish a good kicking once more, without them twigging it's coming. A lesson for us all. Don't be fooled by words, just assess the shape of the person and where and how they feed. |

- It's those same old tectonic things. It feels like we're tumbling like Alice back down into those history books. I remember when the Euro was introduced, most experts were predicting America would not tolerate a European challenge to it's dollar and economic might. How right they were. The trouble is the Uk will immediately go clucking like a lost chick to the US with it's despotic orange president it's petro-chemical corruption, and it's chlorinated chicken. I'm enjoying sitting on the fence for once util we see the shape of things to come, given both parliaments are far too capitalist for my sensibilities, but the possible failure of the original European project of peace is very sad. I also approve of many of their ecological rulings. There's never been such peace in Western Europe for so long. We'll all regret it's failure, and going too far east, too quick, was a bad almost empirical mistake

| I'll tell you what Pat, you go eat what you want to eat, drink what you want to drink. Chicken looks so much more appealing when it's whiter than white. And a few growth hormones will do you a power of good. As long as you're fully informed, I won't stop you. I won't even refuse free NHS treatment if you do something I disapprove of, like being too fat, or smoking too many fags, drinking too much wine.. That's the sort of liberal guy I am. Good luck |

| Well if that deal is the best one May can achieve then she must have the same advisor as james brent for delivering nothing and claiming it a success.
oh well back to the polls we go. |

| The horrible Cnut that she is has finally shown her true colours, back my deal or no Brexit. Anyway onto resignation day, Raab gone just waiting for Mourdant and a few others then a leadership contest some more negotiations before finally accepting no deal and out in March. Which will reach a conclusion first the mankover or Brexit? |

| I have to hand it to her she really has excelled herself by coming up with a deal that literally neither side is happy with at all. |

| I can't see why there is a mandate for another vote? Mays idea that selling a deal that means we remain in the EU ad infinitum with no say on when we leave is not what the public voted for it was in or out and were not out.

| I agree, but It wouldn't surprise me, the remain campaign and their support in the mainstream media might just swing it, things could then turn nasty, we'll see but if I was a betting man I'd keep my money well and truly trousered. |

Western countries are more and more split. nationalism and fascism on the rise again. We've all had civil wars before, and we may well have them again. Even liberals will take up arms if pushed, we saw that in the 1940s, albeit a bit tardy. They tend not to be the pre-emptive sort. This country is split right down the middle. An all or nothing answer is not an answer as it will ignore one half of the country, and just make matters worse. Always thought the capitalists would engineer some reason to keep the heat off them. It's going on everywhere. Anybody know of the "one nation" tories of the 50/60s ? they'd be seen as revolutionary socialists these days in the eyes of some. LOL May is certainly looking like a dead duck, with all the self centred twerps around her thinking more about their future promotion prospects. Serve her right, she was a horrible dangerous home secretary with scant regard for peoples rights and privacy.. |

I'm going for no Brexit by stealth, May is already threatening it. No one else is stepping up with an alternative despite all the waffle and backstabbing. Man that be will sooooo funny. |

Serve her right, she was a horrible dangerous home secretary with scant regard for peoples rights and privacy.. Yeh, just can’t wait for Corbyn, Abbott, MacDonald and the rest of the Marxist zealots to lead us further into oblivion. The real concern for me is the lack of leadership from any political persuasion, where’s the inspiration, the orator, the motivator ? Bugger even Thatcher with her despised policies and regime had leadership qualities but there’s just nobody around that I can see who has that. As I’ve only ever voted labour and ukip, as it stands at the moment I haven’t a clue where my vote would go. As for May’s deal, I’m not sure what the deal actually is as there seems so many contradictions being espoused by the politicians. I just wish we had some ballsy politician who would give the EU beaurocrats the finger and tell em to sod off, cos it’s obvious this cosy cartel is intent on punishing us for having the temerity to see them for what they are, a bunch conniving bar stewards. |

| I would go along with most of what you say there Graiser....I was disappointed that so many fruit and nut cases latched on to UKIP.....the Tories were panicking down in Thanet when Farage put himself forward for the seat.....they broke every rule to make sure he didn't win....the thought of Nigel Farage in parliament showing up the government with his EU knowledge scared them rigid. |

Man that be will sooooo funny. I called that two years ago. Fook all funny about it though because what we are getting is out of the EU Parliment with no say on how we are governed, fishing and farming being negotiated ie staying the same, the banks and big business being felated whilst keeping wages down and the globalisation mindset winning again. Mays deal is quite staggering in it's ability to not please either leavers or remainers. Make no mistake this a Brexit designed by the banks, for the banks. |
