At least us leavers can sleep soundly at night knowing we aren't to blame for the fudge the Remainer May has thrust upon us. In fact I don't know of any other country outside of the EU that doesn't have a hard border around its country with the relevant customs checks. America, China, India.....they all seem fairly affluent to me. Shore it will be a ball ache for a while but no different from what the rest of the world is doing.
Totally wrong. We'd have a hard border in Ireland. |

The Tories have decimated the numbers of Customs and border force staff. Like anything in life identify the problem and then work out a solution. Problem, too few border staff, solution, hire more staff. Problem, delays in imported food product. Solution, hoard tins of spam. |

| As ears writes hard borders are the norm for most countries, the problem with an Irish hard border is not really the EU, more the contravention of the Good Friday agreement. |

| Irish nationalism will see a hard border as a step backward from their goal of having a united Ireland ruled from Dublin. |

Totally wrong. We'd have a hard border in Ireland. It's only wrong if you try and deliberately misinterpret what I wrote. Hard border for UK, NI part of UK hence hard border also. There is a solution to that but would entail a united Ireland. Otherwise they would cope the same as any other country of the world not in the EU. Also none of this would be much of a problem if the government had spent the past two years actually planning to leave the EU instead of hatching plans with banks and big businesses behind closed doors to bring us to this position. Back May and her inny outy plan or suffer the consequences, whichever way you voted. It's clever how they've managed to fool you all into thinking you should save all your ire for the leavers when the truth is they have sold out both sides. Divide and rule eh? |

| Where's Scarf when you need him, the time is just right to dig out the old Maggie giving Reagan head whilst kitted out in Brittania attire. Swap May for Maggie, Reagan for Mark Carney and you could have say Bojo and Cable looking wistfully over a fence. |

| You've specifically said there would a hard border in the channel. Hard to misinterpret that?
Anyway United Ireland is not a solution, firstly it breaches the GFA and therefore internaitonal law, the part thats says NI remains part of UK unless a majority decides otherwise.
Secondly its a little hard for the Conservatives to allow that to happen, what with them being called the Conservative and Unionist Party even if they weren't propped up in parliament by the votes of a cohort that will not countenance any divergence from UK legislation whatsoever. |

| He's dead, about five years ago, used to love his work. Something made me lol earlier on, I googled yellow vest protest in the uk and came up with a story from four days ago, yes it did happen but in two parts, one an anti austerity march made up of trade union groups, lefties and wimmins groups and the other lot were more right wing who had it out with the remainers in town. We can't even organise a protest with a common enemy at the moment it's all a bit people's front of Judea. |

| What about something like..
Goods for Eire from NI go via the non border and vice a versa.
Goods for NI from Uk Mainland go via the mainland ports to NI ports and vice a versa.

| HARD CLIFF EDGE DISASTOROUS BORDERS! I don't know how many remainers have actually crossed any borders lately but the channel is far from an open border, it was pretty slack about ten or fifteen years ago but it can take a couple of hours to get through Plymouth and Roscoff border control at either end now. |

| And the great white hope that is Boris Johnson does it again. I never mentioned Turkey once when talking about Brexit and the EU, Errr yeah you did several times Boris you lying cnut. Couldn't admit to saying about the £350 million per week the NHS would be getting once we leave even though he was quite happy to be photographed stood in front of it every day. I keep seeing "Project Fear" mentioned on here but it was BJ who tried scaring voters over Turkey and how tens of millions of Turks would be settling here if we didn't leave the EU. He's pretty similar to Trump in some ways, believes his own hype but hasn't got a Scooby Doo when it comes down to it and whenever he's caught lying or making a cnut of himself he just shouts FAKE NEWS [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

No its my take on events unfolding. There is simply no way we will leave on the 29/03 without a deal and financial markets are waking up to that. Big Theresa clearly cant come right out with it whilst still attempting to land a deal as it shows her hand but in my view its 99% we will leave with a deal or we go to a 2nd referendum after article 50 is delayed or even in the end frankly revoked. JRM now on about suspending Parliament |

With the banks being Mays main partners in all this they'd be the first to know. |

That's what people say when they believe what the MSM feeds them. Any decent politician is trashed any way possible, often by downright lies. The establishment fear the likes of Corbyn in the UK and Sanders in the USA because they'd build a fairer economy a more caring society and world. |
