| Uruguay v Croatia final I reckon based on how shite France were at the start however with Mbappe looking sharp as a razor he may well carry them through, some talent that boy has. |

Yep. Spain have enough in them to beat Russia. Croatia against Denmark could be a tight game, but I expect the Croats to progress. |

What a dull game, the Spanish possession game is boring, boring , boring, will laugh my tits off if they lose to a poor quality Russian side. |

| I was not expecting that, I thought Spain would have a tad too much For Russia.
Another shock result and fair play to Russia.
At one stage during the game the BBC stats dept put up how many passes the Spanish had made - 711, although I missed the final total for the 120 minutes.

| Given I'm not that partisan these days in a footy nation sense, I don't much care who wins, as long as they issue in a new age replacing the boring corporate carpet football. Delighted to hear tippy tappy get a kicking. English club coaches please take note. It's sooooo millennial, and get rid of the tatts too. Maybe something for Forrest Green to champion..... no meat, no tatts, no brainer. That would look good on their shirts. Brent wouldn't like it so that would be a good thing.. |

| Typical world cup trouble is with viewing it in real time you tend to forget the shite you've watched in the past thru your youth tinted spectacles. As for the pundits they cracked me up after enduring 120minutes of shite it changed to "what an intriguing game." It wasn't very intriguing at all. |
