Strange that the post that I was banned for occured 25 hours earlier and the strongest word used was wanker. Not only that but the subject of the post who had been trolling 24/7 for weeks was immediately blocked by me (and also indicated in the post itself)

I've seen many people complain about swearing on posts on there over the years, is John to assume they're all fake accounts from a select group of sad people with an online vendetta? Seems a bit far-fetched.

6000+ accounts on there, even accounting for the fake profiles of PASOTI and ATD members, that still leaves a lot of people who could take offence and complain. The rules of the chat are clearly stated, follow them and no one can complain. If you have a need to use very strong language, or personally insult someone from another site, thankfully ATD exists.
