A club with ten thousand fans cant afford a squad a supporters Bar or a Grandstand, get out of our club Brent, and take Hallet and the rest of the lifelong "lolz" argo fans on the board with you!

Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Just need to Scunthorpe to score now. cat
Jim seeing HIS £6 million disappearing out to sea. Could have been a new build on the back of the championship playing budget. As it is now, back to the drawing board and hope nobody notices how awful the stadium plans are and how much they'll eventually cost the club. As reality dawns, I suspect a stand off with the council will ensue as he tries the "Oldway" routine.

If Adams and this team had been backed properly in the summer then in January we could have eclipsed the Luggy years, well be lucky to get playoffs now and looking forward to another rebuild in the summer, and I'm not talking about the refurb.

Worryingly, the implied criticism of Adams has actually started-no plan B, reverting to type etc. Up the line [who to his credit has admitted that he was wrong about Adams in the early season days] was slaughtered for suggesting that the use of Grant in an alien position was an inevitable effect, not a cause, of the result on Saturday and quickly received his due desserts. There would seem to be a complete inability or unwillingness on the part of some to even contemplate the idea that there may be deeper issues than tactics or selection involved in Argyle's current lack of form, it really is incredible. I fear for Adams should Argyle dip out on the play offs and then start to struggle next year-without a genuine commitment of an adequate budget next season, then in his position the temptation must be to look to pastures new to fulfil his ambitions. Don't blame him.

It cracks me up, the idea that somehow a forward barely used by Exeter in league 2 will somehow fill Taylor's shoes if the ball is played to his feet? Nothing against Grant but he isn't good enough to lead the line in a promo push. I didn't hear much objection from city fans when we signed him in fact I did hear quite a bit of laughter.

There was a time when 4-4-2 was in vogue that clubs routinely had 4 or 5 strikers on the books We have Taylor, Fletcher and Church.

Adams obviously doesn't think Fletcher is up to it and Church has been injured since before we signed him (which is rather astonishing) leaving us with literally no off-the-shelf replacement.

Whatever the reasoning behind it there really is no excuse and all of those people who were unhappy in the January transfer window and who argued that "the squad was paper thin" have been proven to be completely right (even if we do get away with it and end up in the play-offs).

So responsibility ends up at either Adams's or Brent's door and only one thing is certain: Jervis was sold for £150,000 so there must have been money that could have been made available. The question is: was it?

The Jervis excuse is that he was sold right at the end of January not leaving time to buy a replacement.
