So far yes but also if you ignore the funding by the foreign banks. Shorely funding UK political campaigns by foreign banks is illegal? If it isn't it should be.

Jacob Rees-Mogg speaking in Parliament and advocating a 2nd referendum once negotiations have been concluded.

It does't get much more establishment than Rees-Moggy. He looks like a slip of paper blowing in the wind It's just a dorm bun fight betwixt different factions of those born to rule, over those born to be wild. Higher prices, less services, just as before. Create your own reality Can't really see much of a way out other than a public ye or nay on "the deal" Poor old Ireland might get sacrificed.... again. Can't wait for everyone's logic on democracy to change 180 degrees after a second vote.

But my point is that funding of the referendum by foreign banks should be illegal.

My point being that what we see in action here is British law, British sovereignty etc (so apparently precious to so many) being enacted before our very eyes.
And yet many of those so keen to acclaim British law, British sovereignty etc don't actually support it when it is enacted.
So why are they so keen to acclaim it in the first place unless they don't know what they are saying?

Who's saying that I'm opposing the judgement? Just my opinion that foreign banks shouldnt be funding our political campaigns. They lost so it's all irrelevant anyway.

Are you familiar with Frank Zappa, Ears? (I bet you are.)
He recorded the rather wonderful, very funny, scurrilous and frequently obscene Joe's Garage (very highly recommended if you have never heard it). In it there is a character named The Central Scrutinizer. One of his best lines is:
"Hello. I'm The Central Scrutinizer. My job is to enforce the laws that haven't been passed yet..."
Does that ring a bell?

Yep got acts 1,2 and 3. I think comparing yourself to the central scrutiniser is fairly apt. Extra referendums cos you lost, votes for people not of age after the event has happened..... The mighty Zappa also asked 'why does it hurt when I pee?' Not sure that's relevant either.

Would you like chips with your Labour gammon?
John McDonnell: Labour wants to push ahead with Brexit
On eve of conference, shadow chancellor defies calls for party to promise second referendum
The headline is disengenuous, it doesn't matter what he, Conference sets policy not him. And what conference decided is a fudge in an attempt to please the pro-remain membership and the Eurosceptic leadership. Lalour post 2015 is supposedly about making it more democratic to its members, so it can't very well refuse. Some might say its an exercise in refighting the 1980s battles.

Another helping of Labour gammon...
McDonnell: new Brexit referendum should not include remain option
Shadow chancellor says he would back second referendum but only if it is a ‘vote on the deal itself’

Unite official says Starmer was wrong to say remain would be an option in second referendum
He says a vote on the deal would not be a second referendum. Despite what Keir Starmer said earlier, it would be a public vote on the terms of departure, he says.
Turner seems to be channelling the views of his boss, the Unite general secretary Len McCluskey.
Len mcCluskey shpuld shut the feck up, he's not an elected MP, his job isnt to tell uk citizens what they should and shouldn't have a right to vote on.
Im generally pro union, but this guys a self important cnut more concerned about personal status and influence than anything else.

So Theresa May will fail to negotiate any sort of deal.
Parliament will not accept crashing out. The Brexit Crisis brought to us all by a completely insane and dysfunctional Tory Party will bring down yet another Tory PM. There will have to be a General Election. Corbyn will win with a landslide majority. There will be another referendum and Brexit will be buried alongside all the other insane Tory policies never to be seen again.
And you Brexiteers will have only yourselves to blame: you campaigned against EU for decades, you destroyed the PMships of Thatcher, Major, Cameron and May, you won your sodding referendum and even then you had no idea what it was you wanted, how to implement it or how to negotiate it.
And rather like all of Brent's failed plans you will have failed not because it was impossible to be done (although Brexit in 2 years probably was and still is impossible) but because your own bloody incompetence prevented it from happening.
What a complete and utter bloody farce.
You should all be deeply embarassed by it all and ashamed of yourselves.

If we are headed to ref no 2, overturn of Brexit and the Nirvana of a Corby left wing government then you have won. Why are you getting such a stew in yer knickers for? Anyway fook all of that will happen and what has happened was predicted by me right at the start. Btw I have never voted Tory in my life so not my fault they have made a pigs ear of it. The truth is that you are in or out of Europe, there is no half way house shorely not that hard to understand is it? Roll on March.
