I'm still calm about this but if nothing has happened by the middle of July...
I'm trying to stay calm about the whole situation based on the fact that DA had less time last year and managed to sign some good players. I am, however, rather pithed off and concerned with what appears to be developing in the transfer market. We have Matt now off the plot, Hartley seems to be heading north but not confirmed and tonight we have rumours circulating via some EFL site concerning Wylde, RR and McHugh. Of course, of the rumours only Matt is confirmed but if one of those other rumours happens in the next few days then we are in a very worrying situation.
Is it pay or geography?? JB could do himself and the suits a huge favour with a simple statement telling the fans if the budget is more, same or less than last season. Simple enough statement but I'm not holding my breath. Do you actually think he saw the 34K at Wembley? The fans deserve better.

From Portsmouth fan forum

But the Ruben Reid rumuor is back (cue groans [Very Happy])

Latest is he's coming on a 2 year deal.. don't know how reliable the source is though.

Don't think so smudger smith is though, can't see us having 2 big strikers.

The source is not reliable at all. The 'journalist' is supposedly from Ghana, why would he know anything about the Football League?

James O'Rourke the scouser is Ghanian? (big hint as to source there incidently)
