MATCH-DAY MAGIC v MORECAMBE
ARGYLE Community Trust will open our magical doors to 120 special guests for the weekend clash with Morecambe at Home Park. The visitors will be part of the Match-Day Magic programme and we welcome guests from Hatherleigh Youth Football Club, Okehampton Primary School and Bishop Bronescombe School in St Austell. The Match-Day Magic package starts at 10am at Home Park and we kick-off with a talk on the history of the club and a ground tour, taking in the Boardroom, dressing rooms, dug-outs and pitchside. This is followed by a one-hour coaching session with our highly qualified team of coaches in the Plymouth Life Centre and we then settle down for a delicious buffet lunch before heading to our award-winning Family Stand area for fun activities and, of course, the big match.

| Star performers Reuben Reid and Peter Hartley have not trained this week and Adams said that he was ‘hopeful’ that they would be fit to face Morecambe on Saturday. But in the absence of key performers so far this season, there have been a wealth of players ready to step in and fill their boots [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

It is limited availability in Blocks 3 10 11 12 13 and all of main stand, the main on line sells for tickets comes in of Fridays evenings If you log in to Argyle ticket section you can see it for one's self It the same at this moment for the Exeter City game but for some reason they have block 19 open. |

| 'Clean bill of health'?
Thank god Nelson's 'long term injury' was just conjecture then! |

| Curtis Nelson: Plymouth Argyle skipper impresses managerPlymouth Argyle manager Derek Adams says he is impressed by the way captain Curtis Nelson is leading the side. The 22-year-old centre-back has been an ever-present this season, with the Pilgrims four points clear at the top of League Two. "Should he really be captain? Probably not because of his age," Adams said. "But he's been able to handle that very well, he's a good communicator and it's something that's probably added to his game," Adams told BBC Radio Devon. Nelson made his debut in 2010 and has played 210 games for Plymouth. He was part of the side which was relegated from League One in 2011 and the team that almost got relegated out of the Football League after financial troubles hit Home Park, as well as the side which made the League Two play-off semi-finals last season. "He's only a young boy, but he has had experience of being at this football club for many years," added Adams, who took over as Argyle manager in the summer. "He's played a lot of games and he knows how the football club works. That helps the new players coming into the squad and it helps the players that are here already. "It's always important that you have people in and around the football club that know the tradition, know where the club's been and where it wants to go to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

Jim Bentley is hopeful for Shrimps trio to be available for trip to Home Park. SHRIMPS’ Jim Bentley is hopeful that Shaun Miller, Andy Fleming and Laurence Wilson will make the long trip to Home Park this Saturday.
All three missed the game against Orient last week but Bentley is hoping to see them travel for the game against the league leaders this weekend.
He said: “Laurence Wilson is back in training and we hope to see Shaun Miller and Andy Fleming stepping things up as the week goes on too which will be a big boost for us.
“We missed Shaun on Saturday because he has been flying. He's the man in form in League 2 and when a striker is on the run he is on he is bound to be a loss.
“He's been brilliant in October but he had a slight knock during the week and said he was feeling a bit tight before the game.
“We could have risked it but I don't want to put him in a position where he might be out of action for longer than necessary. With Jack Ryan returning to Preston we only had six subs as it was and with a squad the size of ours we have to look after our players.''
Bentley is hoping the Shrimps can maintain their excellent away form against a side being hotly tipped for automatic promotion.
Said Bentley: “We have only lost once away this season so far and that was on the opening day of the season. We know we are in for a tough afternoon but we have produced some great performances on our travels this season and I can''t see any reason why we can't cause them problems on Saturday

| I have to say Freathers, that thought crossed my mind as well, what with the well publicised Pompey interest. Only Reuben Reid knows the answer to that one. Maybe a shot across the bows, who knows in today's football industry. If I were him, I would be cranking up the pressure big time, and this timing would be perfect for a triumphant return just before the holiday period when he whacks in another 3 or 4, and Bob's your uncle. He knows his record now warrants a fair old hefty contract for this level with whoever is willing to pay it, and he's getting no younger. His stock must be the highest it's ever been, and that latest sweet looping volley imbued him with extra prowess he doesn't actually possess in the normal world. The odds are he's injured, but who's to say. If this injury stretches on a couple of more weeks, I reckon the jury should return a verdict. Let's not forget, he's not an Adams protege I still remember Halmosi being stretchered off just weeks before his once in a lifetime fiscal opportunity. |

| 7500 ( including 500 ST holders that aren't actually there )
A bit like Newell's Pasoti viewers counting system, but nowhere near as unlike the truth, just a gentle 5 to 10% subconscious tickle. If Pasoti were in charge of attendance figures, we would be looking at a gate of over 20,000 |
