| I was as angry as most when Holloway left and frankly pissed myself when he relegated Leicester but in hindsight he combined both a quality side with a feeling that following Argyle was fun. For feck sake football was designed as a release from the woes of the working week, not to add to it.
Webb is talking absolute shite. What is this about "managing the whole club?". We're not Dortmund. We do not have a reserve team to shout about and a patchy youth structure, so we're back to the 1st team. I think when Webb refers to whole club he includes "the supporters" and we should read that for "Webb". He sees this as an opportunity to put a dig in at that useless league cup winning international promotion winning manager who didn't want to play the "famous" supporters game and now wants to anoit someone who does.
I fail to see how any of us should listen to a person who promoted a Tory to win a marginal Labour seat, whilst still claiming to be a socialist, and who has never coached a team in his life.
Typical Webb, sees a vacuum and thinks he can fill it. |

| It was said that when sturrock arrived he ended up running all aspects of the club, sheridan isnt the bloke to do that. Not sure who will. Some names mentioned make me laugh warburton ? Clough ? Ferguson ? Any of them likely to be the manager of a charity er i mean professional club jeez.
Bruce rioch gets my vote ! |

| lets face it if IJN truely has the ear of mr brent the "football novice" then Paul Wotton has it in the bag and Ian Holloway and half the decent candidates will not get a look in.
we need a proper manager, with passion, guts and tempremant to not take s**t from the players. and that last to be
Ian Holloway, Bruce Rioch (??), Neil Warnock or at least anyone with a decent amount of experience.
Perhaps Dick Advocat left Sunderland with a tear in his eye cause he had the call from Brent??!

Bruce rioch gets my vote ! I was chatting to Bruce Rioch few weeks back. He is totally disillusioned with top end footy due to the money now floating around. Said he prefers coaching kids. Nice idea though but he has been out of the loop for a while. |

Bruce Rioch has been out of football for too long to be relevant today. can we try and think of managers that dont live in devon or cornwall please as the pool is very low. |

| All I have seen so far is a list of hacks, has beens and never weres, you need a young hungry manager in the mould of a Gary Monk or Eddie Howe, there are dozens of hard working, well qualified young managers at non league clubs or assistants at league clubs who are gagging for a crack at a job with such a monster sleeping giant as Gargoyle.
Danny fooking Wilson, give me a break. |

| If Ian Holloway applies for this job Argyle would be absolutely batshit to say no. We are L2 ffs he has very recent pedigree, not flukes btw, of getting teams promoted with next to feck all. |

| THE Christ Webb and fat-guts need to keep their interfering little prongs out of James Brent and let him make this decision based on the interviews and pedigree. |

| James Fowler. His Queen of the South side finished only 7 points below Rangers. He'll have contacts and knowledge of Scottish championship football which is where we plucked Marino Keith, Lowndes, Coughlan, Worrell from. He's young, could fill in if necessary at centre half, and I always felt sorry for his mum Pauline in Eastenders. |

| Nigel Adkins would be a good shout at 25/1. But would he want to make the drop down to league 2 again after experiencing the highs with Southampton in premiership/championship and poor spell at Reading recently?
Certainly someone who could take this club and get it moving. Long shot i know but why not have a go if he doesnt land the sheff utd job. |

| I think it will be Wotton and Warnock. They have been lined up for months to replace Sheridan. I don't think that the headline in the Sunday Independent was a random story made up by a bored journalist. |

| I think there was a screenshot of the headline on here or Facebook saying it was time for the "WOW" factor (Wotton and Warnock).
Elsewhere, Damon made an interesting call that Lillian Nalis is doing a great job in the French second division. |
