| That is better. Back in the Play-Off places yet again, hopefully Argyle will stay there now, while other sides slip up ?.

| Dood win - Northampton never forced Luke into meaningful action. |

How the feck did he win MOM? Very competent in what he did but hardly had a really tough save to make, very odd decision-perhaps his mum was the sponsor or whoever makes the award. Good hard fought win. Cobblers stronger in the first 20 or so minutes but Argyle gradually worked their way into the game with some decent stuff involving Holmes-Dennis and Lewis down the left, Bobby Reid prompted effectively at times. Makes a hell of a difference when goals arrive from players other than the strikers and Anthony O'Connor gave Argyle the lead with a great strike low into the corner after more good work down the left, i thought Argyle eventually merited the HT lead. Second half was a bit of the "what we have we hold" story, Northampton huffed and puffed, closest effort was a deflected shot which flew just wide of the far post but ironically the pattern led to Argyle clinching the game with a classic counter attack involving Reid and Talbot who laid on a great ball for Lewis to coolly round the keeper and slot into the empty net for three very valuable points, real Pulis type stuff. Bit of controversy early on when their keeper handled outside the area but received no further punishment-not necessarily in that incident but the officials were, I thought, crap for both sides. It started from the kick off in fact-long diagonal ball went over Holmes-Dennis head by about six inches, throw in to them. Still, all's well that ends well, some of the other results went Argyle's way today, so a much better day all round. |

| Ivan Toney really needs to just quit right now, what a horrible, dirty little player. |

What quit his dream job as a professional footballer because you don't like him? Don't hold your breath mate. |

Did you go today Angers? Talbot was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Really enjoyed that today. Satisfying win against a team evidently full of confidence. Build up play for our 2nd was sublime. Happy days...back on the beer again now. |

Can't say I noticed him but #3 Horwood getting involved with the Lyndy when the ball got stuck behind a seat and then yelling "feck off" when he got some back (from what I could see the ball was stuck behind a seat occupied by a disabled person who couldn't return it) was a new low. Horwood's a piece of slime who embarrasses the club he represents. |
