| There are ‘no issues’ over the fitness of striker Ryan Taylor for Plymouth Argyle’s away game against Northampton Town on Saturday, according to manager Ryan Lowe.
Another forward, Byron Moore, will return to the Pilgrims’ squad at Sixfields Stadium after missing the last four matches due to a hamstring injury.
Strikers Joel Grant and Dom Telford are still sidelined but both are not too far away.
They have both had hamstring issues, too, but Lowe is optimistic they will not be out of action for much longer.
The availability of Taylor for the trip to Northampton is a big boost for the Pilgrims.
The 31-year-old scored two of the goals in the 3-0 victory over Walsall at Home Park in League Two last Saturday.
He was also on target in the Carabao Cup second round tie at home to Reading on Tuesday.
However, Taylor was substituted at half-time as a precaution by Lowe after he took a blow to the front of his foot.
When Lowe was asked about Taylor’s availability for the game at Northampton, he replied: “He’s fine, no issues.
“Byron Moore will be back with us, so the only absentees will be Dom Telford and Joel Grant, and Joel’s not too far.
“I think in the next 10 days, touch wood, we will have a fully fit squad to pick from, which then becomes a headache for me, and that’s what I want.
“We are going to have a fantastic squad when everyone is fit,” added the Pilgrims’ boss.
Grant has not played since he was substituted in the first half of the 1-0 home league win against Colchester United on August 10.
Lowe said: “Joel wants to make sure it’s right. It’s only right that he has got to be 100 per cent.
“Byron feels 100 per cent now. There is no point in rushing Joel back, I don’t do that, I work off them.
“He has had his back done, so he’s doing all the right things, he’s just taking a little bit longer.”
Telford pulled up when making a run forward during the first half against Walsall and was taken off immediately.
Lowe said: “We have had good feedback on Dom. It’s not as bad as we first thought.
“He’s getting better each day. He is actually doing a little bit more work than expected.
“He’s probably the equivalent of what Byron was – it’s the same type of injury, same type of muscle.
We are hoping he’s only going to be 10 days, 14 days from now maybe. Hopefully 10.”
Lowe also gave a positive update about right wing-back Joe Riley, who had to be substituted against Walsall.
He was suffering from soreness in the arm which be broke towards the end of last season.
Riley had a pre-match injection to reduce the pain but it worsened during the game and he could not continue.
Tafari Moore made his first appearance of the season against Reading in the absence of Riley.
Lowe said: “Taf has come in and done a fantastic job, to be fair to him, when he hadn’t played for a while.
“It was an opportunity for Taf to showcase what he has got, but the rest for Joe was important because he took a couple of bangs on it (his arm).
“He has had a few days now to rest it and he will be right for Saturday.”
Defender Will Aimson is also available for selection after missing all of pre-season and the start of the league campaign due to a pelvic problem.
He was an unused substitute against Reading, and is expected to play in the Leasing.com Trophy group game with Bristol Rovers at Home Park next Tuesday.

| It's savage the wear and tear of football. An old friend from way back had a kid who went to play for Walsall I think, can't remember his name his mum who I knew married, but anyway he's about thirty now and he walks like an old cowboy who's just been kicked in the nuts. |

| My first run-of-the-mill away game in years thanks to the fixture computer putting it on the same weekend as a family wedding in Northamptonshire.
Even better as they haven't invited us to the boring bits, but just the evening bash.
It's what you might call a win-win (and maybe Argyle will as well). |

Joe Broad played for Walsall (but came through the Argyle youth scheme but would be around 40 now)? |

| Seems pretty clear that under the terms of Brent cashing in his shares, he's had some sort of clause inserted that he has a couple Directors Box passes at away games - so as not to have to sit/stand with actual bona fide ordinary Argyle fans. |
