So why was brent so positive on Saturday, saying that in the next week or two they would be considering a couple of options re the grandstand ?

Sold the naming rights, looked into the eyes of a rich Arab or Russian or opening up a new Lego park.

SFD you have not moved over to the Lyndhurst stand?

Then there's the tent and the FPC that both need upgrading..................... I have a feeling it's going to involve the local rump of the support base getting involved physically and financially.

Shorely not more buckets.

Probably going to start a kickstarter campaign to raise the money to fund a new small grandstand.... I would laugh saying that but i wouldnt be shocked if he did such a thing.

£20.000 to do up the FPC, I am sure he could talk the AFT in paying for it, he did it for the poppy on the shirts.

I'd rather the Trust talked Brent into putting the club up for sale NOW and not wait for the return of Brenda to do it.

The current HHP ministand design utilising ground floor frontage as retail outlets relies on the expensive underground car park being built for access.

If they returned to Barr ministand option it would be a lot cheaper but would invalidate the HHP Planning Application

So the smal grandstand that will be built in such away it will never be enhanced is being funded by a partner so most probably be named after that said partner which isnt unusal. However is it safe to say the rest HHP clusterfuck wont be built on the carpark seeing as virtually everything that was going that is being built elsewhere?

How Brent hopes to raise any kind of serious money from anybody for anything is beyond me. His appalling track record of non-delivery of anything he touches and other parts of his business going into administration just ticks every 'too-risky' box.

JB still needs to build an Ice Rink somewhere in city as part of deal to redevelop Pavillions' site.

Maybe he'll buy the one currently in Piazza and shove it on HHP with another marquee over top

Did you have to give him solutions to his dilemmas? Just remember its was your idea when it happens. Laughing

The bit where Brent says something like he wants to announce which direction they will go and how it will be funded is a bit worrying? What's next I wonder, a play barn and kindergarten on the Mayflower with a drive through Nandoes and car wash? Porky could open a mug and shirt shop.

Brent is a serial Non Developer only believed by the hard of thinking or self promoters. There is more chance of Messi signing for Argyle or Chris Dweeb becoming Mayor of Plymouth, than a Brent built Ministand appearing.

Nothing new said

Plymouth Argyl critical  point', says owner James Brent

This paragraph I worried about, as a member of FOCP and a season ticket holder

'That is why I'm so passionate that BY ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, we're going to get that new grandstand.'

Confirming SFD/TGWU's information, I heard today, on good authority, that JB isn't exactly flavour of the month with the powers that be at the Council. Although a couple of months ago PCC were prepared to explore the possibility of financing the rebuilding of the stand, any possibility is now at an end. It is that clear cut.

After all the fanfare and deals he made with council this does not bode well at all.

At the end of the day Brent still has a pure banker's mentality. He won't spend anything on any project unless it is with other people's money. Whether that is loans to his own companies from gullible banks/investors or money from Wrathall or PCC or bucket-rattlers. He's been sussed, even by the regularly gullible. The perfect storm IS brewing.

I am afraid Brent will use some skulduggery in is next move, with the Council washing their hand from any involvement in his plans. What have he got to offer to an investors. It worrying what his plan is to rise the money.
