| Felwick and Jones to 'retire'. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Doesn't take much to read between the lines here. Brent even comments on the need to freshen things up. Hopefully soon he'll follow suit. |

| Is it not more than a little ironic that Peter Jones is leaving once again just before a totally inappropriate property gamble by the board of PAFC? |

That, or a close variant of it, had crossed my mind, too. When you think he stood foursquare behind the almighty clusterfuck that was, what I suppose we must now call, "HHP.01" it makes me wonder exactly how awful the consequences of HHP.02 will be that are yet to be revealed. |

| It's one of lifes great mysteries quite how Peter Jones has made a career as a marketing and brand expert. He's been on the Argyle Board for donkeys years in a couple spells, yet that Commercial side that he supposedly specializes in has been an unmitigated disaster for the whole of his tenure.
He's been bumped out, foreshore. And tbf, together with Felwick (does anybody know anything at all that he brought to the table?) they won't be any loss. |

Even now the lying continues you devous creature... Why would there be a boardroom row about the development? It's been on the cards since day one, realism has meant its been scaled back, PAFC still have the benefit of a profit share. The only real debatable issue is parking and rolling it all into one planning application. Would seem very odd to cause such a disagreement that two directors were moved on |

The only time you heard from peter jones was anything to do with michael foot and that slab, telling fans to support man utd, sticking up for brent on the herald site allegedly oh and push that ocean city shit down peoples throats. i agree he is no loss.

It throws up the same sort of feedback every year. The Marketing wizard has quite obviously had his number called. When you read the article, there is no comment at all from Jones. No fond farewell. He's been bulleted. |

| Possibly the fact that the devopment benefits Brent personally over the football club and it's board? |

But it doesn't, at least not HHP, which is the only site the club can have any claim on. Brent confirmed yesterday that as the development won't be funding the stand the profit share the club is entitled to remains in place |

He's referring to the new hotel and Commercial Units Brents wants to knock up on land he wants to buy. These units will be in direct competition to any of Argyles food and bar outlets on a matchday. |

And where has the money for this separate development appeared from? Go cap in hand to all and sundry and then pull a rabbit out of the hat when the sniff of development bunce presents itself.....not so keen to invest his 'hard earned' into the football club. |

Don't be ridiculous, if, and its a big if, there is interest in the units they will be family restaurant types pitching at families visiting the life centre, ice rink and park in general. Do you seriously think a nandos or pizza express is going to appeal as an alternative to the corporate experience, supporters bars or food kiosks. Any impact on the club's offering will be negligible. |

As it goes, you're obviously not down with the kids, because a Nando's is EXACTLY the type of place you will see bucketloads of yoof who would almost certainly prefer their chicken and chips and bottomless soft drinks, to a manky burger or awful pasty under the concourse. |
