That's it. Summer's over, get the central heating on! Night before last it was still 32deg here at 11.00pm with not a breath of wind. One word....sticky. |

| Iv'e had my two weeks in the sun this year already (Cuba), so I'm not jealous Czarcy (just envious because Greece is my favourite holiday destination) I quite look forward to our winters. Nice walks in the fresh air, snuggling up in front of the fire with a glass of wine on a cold winters night, wrapping up warm and getting out and about.
I know it's nice to go on holiday and feel some real sunshine for a few weeks a year, but I'm fecked if I could hack living in a hot country all year round. I like our seasons. |

| I'd move to Spain/Portugal tomorrow if circumstances allowed. Sadly they don't, with kids at an important schooling age. With a fair wind and a favourably performing pension I may get there in about ten years. My uncle lives out in Nerja (Costa del sol) he's been out there for over 20 years and the life he has is pretty much exactly what I would want. Not sure I could live full time on the Greek Islands, lovely as they are, things like healthcare are still a bit third world.
Back on topic, a mahoosive cockroach has just turned up and proceeded to put most of the women in the bar on red alert. I may make myself a hero and DEAL with it.

| Quite day to day went to the food thing in town tried a Zebra pasty, a bit stripey there was Rabbit but it hopped off before I got hold of it. Walked around Barbican. No little ones until tomorrow morning where we will have them until 5 o'clock on Tuesday. The grandson will have his diving lesson then. |

| Bit of peace and quite from Friday little ones off to Italy for a week. The (6year old) grandson wasn't happy with Argyle or his dad as he missed the goal because his father said the game was over and took out of the ground. Booked a week in Spain for me and the boss for the end of Sept. No home game will be missed. Booked flights from Bournemouth for £307 for two, tonight same flight £399. |
