Obviously the Newell/Stapleton relationship goes some way beyond passing or casual if one is prepared to do business with the other.

I wonder if Stapleton was one of Newell's 3 backers when he fronted up the 50% Pasoti buy-out from Dave Gadd?

In fact I wonder if the Pasoti mods even know who they are really working for?

FBT Sports (UK) Ltd no longer trades. It ceased trading after Heaney failed to pay a considerable amount for Truro City kit. The designs of FBT shown above come from the multi million dollar Thai company, unconnected to the Stapletons.

Who supplies the 6-a-side kits to Goals?

Does anybody know?

Are you sure? They still seem to have been active as recently as 09/01/14.

And it seems to me that Oliver Stapleton is still a director.

I have known the person who set up the UK agency for a number of years. FBT UK supplied the Raiders kits whilst I was involved. (pre Ollie joining their Board). The company may still exist but it hasnt traded since Truro went out of business. The Thai company is now directly represented in the UK by the ex MD of the UK company, the other Directors of the UK company (including Ollie) having no part of the Thai company.

Not really SFD, a Plymouth man starts a company thats a UK agency for a multi million dollar Thai sports kit manufacturer. The UK business goes bust after a crook named Heaney knocks them for many thousands of pounds. The Thai company retains the services of the man who started the company.

SFD - out of interest why do you persist with the thought that the Pasoti ownership issue isn't as clear cut as it seems. IjN has denied several times that it's owned by anyone but him and Gadd (not that that makes it gospel). How are you so sure otheres put up the money?

And why would others need to put up the money ? i believe Pasoti was valued at £4,000 or £4,500, 50% of that is surely well within the reach of such a high flying businessman/local celebrity.

Stapleton choose to go to Dubai the same day he announced we were in admin enough said.

I hate Stapleton and personally think he should keep away.

The comment about his holiday is not technically correct!

He was scheduled to cancel his holiday and fly to japan to sell the remaining shares to stop admin happening. Ridsdale talked him out if it stating admin would be better...

Very interesting post from Rapson. I for one didn't know that. I always liked having fans on the board until big money starting happening. Football's so cruel.

Flack deflection possibly Rapper ? So, it's all Ridsdales fault, not Stapleton's. And of course, that fault then passes to Guilfoyle. Very convenient pair, those two, but then Ridsdale always said he was in the business of taking the flack for football club owners. Stapleton would have followed Ridsdale's advice for one reason and one reason only. Nothing like blaming everyone else rather than who actually owned the club and let the debt spiral out of control. They were gambling for a big pay day, pure and simple.
What we're seeing now is still very much related to those WCup plans. As Pengelly publicly  said later, we had plans for hotels and all sorts, it is now a question of how much we can salvage from the World Cup plans.
The fact is Stapleton did fly off, and no amount of spreading unbsubstantiated rumours and rewriting of history will alter that fact. Very poor and sort of conveniently complements nicely Nool's latest Stapes stuff. Nothing like wisting a pile of nonsense on Internet forums. Still, that's what ATD is for I guess. You can't do it on Pasoti these days as it would obviously appear to be straight from the superfans.  So, in some ways ATD is very useful to Nool. Just who told you that little juicy snippet Rapper or hey, maybe you were privy to conversations between Stapleton and Ridsdale at the time ?   What nonsense. Same old bull jocolor

You'd believe any old rubbish..

This is the 21st century.. You don't need to cancel your holiday to sell shares.

Clueless.

The fact remains he chose to bail and run away the day he had someone tell the staff and players the club is in administration and they werent likely to get paid. It was grossly disrespectful to them that when they are having to live in on bread and water he still went out to Dubai.

Why am I sure? Can't really tell you without dropping someone in it.

How sure am I that Newell represented 3 others? 100%

Why persist? Because it is true.

Valued at that much surprises me ?? Its the same 20 Posters going around in a circle from what I can read and probably Porkie Newell accounts for five of that total as well  pig pig pig pig pig
