| Whilst not amazing it is still bloody good given it would have been higher at Rovers as the tickets sold out.
The average away attendance in the FL last year were:
Championship 1,323 L1 542 L2 420

I get that Dick, but I guess it comes back to that sort of village (someone may have mentioned this before ) mentality whereby we actively lord it over proper division 4 clubs like Wycombe as if we really are something special. I don't really wanna be basking in some sort of perceived glory because we took 600 to Wycombe on a Tuesday night. The fact we're in this dogshit division is a travesty in itself. I'd rather we get out of this league and be at the right end of the next league up with double-figure home attendances on a regular basis again before having to read some 'best fans in the world' type tub thumping bollocks from the President. |

| I've been an exiled supporter for more years than a 'home' supporter now. Our away crowds especially around London have always always been good - the only change now is that people record the numbers and then bleat on about it. The London Supporters branch, if it's the same now as it used to be, is one of the biggest especially amongst lower league teams in the metropolis.
Only one coach came up from Plymouth - so 50 or so hardy souls which is fairly remarkable in itself. |

| I take it Webb's recent radio commentary appearance means he won't be resigning any time soon. No surprise there then Obviously just hoping the thing will die down with him still in place, and no one really noticing. Job done. Socialist of the year. |

| Plymouth has many exiles. Those who moved away in the main for further education and job opportunities. Just a glance through the GOS away match photo sets, reveals that the majority of exiles still following Argyle are in the older age brackets. Those hooked on the club from their youth. The picture is not much more youthful at HP. People have more things to do with their time and money. An historically underachieving football club is simply not on the radar of the younger generation. |

Plymouth Argyle president Chris Webb: Let's pack Home Park and support Pilgrims' play-off push
HE next two home games for Plymouth Argyle will potentially define our promotion credentials as we go head to head with the top two teams in the division.
On Saturday we face Scunthorpe who are on a record breaking undefeated run of 20 games and arrive at Home Park looking to cement a place in the promotion places.
The Green Army, though, are not the type of supporters that worry about the opposition.
We support our team whatever the circumstances.
Almost 1,400 pilgrims at Bristol Rovers last Saturday and amazingly over 600 at Wycombe on Tuesday night believe in this team.
After six long years the beast is starting to stir. After years of facing relegation battles until the seasons end we now sit with a real opportunity of making the play-offs (and for us optimists, maybe sneaking into an automatic place).
This Argyle side is a team that is starting to make us proud.
A good blend of youth and experience, playing the game the right way with every single player recognising that they are privileged to pull on the Green shirt.
On Saturday they need us.
The top half of League two is so close that the final table is impossible to predict.
We have something that no other side in the shake-up have: A crowd that can be the 12th Man.
A support that in both numbers and volume can send a shiver down the spine.
This isn’t just the player’s moment to finally grasp success.
It is ours too.
Ours as Plymouth Argyle supporters and ours as a city.
It is no secret that if Argyle does well, Plymouth does well.
I call on all Argyle supporters, across the generations to make it to Home Park this weekend.
Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your neighbours and bring anyone that wants to get behind a squad of talented players giving 100% for the badge.
There are dozens of United’s, City’s, Rovers and Towns.
There is only one Argyle.
We have the added bonus on Saturday of the match being the Official Armed Forces Day at Home Park.
Plymouth is rightly proud of its military background.
Argyle is very proud of those that serve and protect us.
Events pre-match and at half time are not to be missed as we will pay homage to our fantastic Armed Forces.
Many of you will remember Wembley in '96.
How about the Semi-Final against Colchester which still gives me goosebumps thinking back to Paul Williams diving header?
We deserve those moments again but they are there to be won and taken not just given.
There are no guarantees of success in life but you are guaranteed to lose if you do not try.
Let’s pack Home Park and roar the lads to victory this weekend. GREEN ARMY!

Not really, is it?
People simply don't get all moist at the sight of a Webb rallying call any more. You are spot on Czarky, what a tosser, we took 1700 to Brentford and over 900 to Barnet on a Tuesday for 4th division fixtures, but do we go on and on about it? |

Go home Tisdale There is no way you took 1700 to Brentford on a standard, run of the mill league fixture, nor 900 to Barnet on a Tuesday The fact the two of you were playing for a league title might have had something to do with it, also the fact it was practically the last game of the season. Having played out a similar game v QPR, both clubs could have filled the 20,000+ ground twice over with paying supporters. So it's not really a good example of your support is it? If you need a true indicator of that, check out your 3,500 average attendances this season. Small club Exeter, always will be. |

| Just over 4000 for that Brentford game. Did Brentford have just 2500 home fans? |

| More importantly Tis how many Grecian foot soldiers will be making the mammoth 40 mile trek to Home Park this month for a local derby, a crucial game that could help them stay in the league? It doesn't look like it will be any more than the 900 who supposedly went to Barnet. |

| 300 views this morning on Pasoti and apart from IJN only one person has bothered to pass comment on the President's 'Erald rallying call. How times have changed since the usual 30 sycophants hung on his every word by slapping his back with follow up comments. |

No idea what you and Huge are smoking but I would recommend you cut down on it. The Brentford game which was a top v contender job drew way over 10k on an Easter Monday, the Barnet game I may have slung you a wrong'un, thinking on that was a Conference game, even more impressive huh? That would be the season we took over 1500 to Weymouth to watch us get butt foo'ed. As nice as it is to mock you Billy Big Blocks Wankers it is quite painful to consider exactly what has gone wrong with my club which not so very long ago could call on that level of committed support so very far from home, 700 to Darlington, 600 to Crawley on a Tuesday night, not all of them related to particularly good periods of form. I was at all of them, now I would think twice about crossing the street, not because we are shiite, we were nearly always shiite, one year in the Conf I managed eight away games for the return of just one point, just because. |

| I can't find anything online to back that up Tis. I found this though. - Quote :
- Exeter City was founded in 1904 and began playing on an old field used for fattening pigs, St James Park (not to be confused with the homes of Newcastle United or Brackley Town).

I can't help your investigative deficiencies and I would suggest that looking at your "super fans" issues of fattening pigs would seem more prevalent in Muff nowadays. |

| Exeter football thingies aren't that rife on the internet. I can't find much. Some vague references to Noel Edmonds and something about Brazil - that was before electricity existed though. It was something, something, Uri Gellar, something, we drew at Old Trafford once, something, our wall fell down. |

In case you are still struggling check out this vid:- Looks like the away end at the Griff is pretty much packed while the rest of the ground, capacity nearly 13k, has just a few empty seats. Took about 30 seconds to find, but then again I am not a retard. |
