| Frank at the Fox is a legend he's been there ever since I started drinking there about thirty years ago. He loves a session and done many a late bar in the area for parties and skittle evenings. Good place for a roast dinner and tellingly his staff have all worked there for years, will never win a Michelin star but a goon old fashioned pub/hotel and he has a camping field behind the pub. I heard the other day that the Bridestowe section of the path is going to be finished soon. I remember talking to a Dutch family on a cycling tour of Dartmoor who couldn't believe that the cycle path joined the old A30 for a few miles, they were incredulous. |

I've been out on the Moors up the peat track behind the Fox and Hounds, didn't make it up to Links Tor but it was absolutely stunning day, made you feel good to be alive. Love it up there Iggy. I often work up that way. The Granite way is a favourite cycle path of mine, well, apart from the Bridestowe bit. Lost my phone at the Fox and Hounds before the Winter holiday. The landlord found it in his car park two days later and phoned a friend. gotta be a first. I like that pub.
Great pasty TG, excellent. Have a fine time. Thats a real pub with a pool table and serves jail ale. Good food as well and when I get my t5 camped up I might use the camp site next door. ps has been owned by the same family for 35 years |

| The Marines are coming! On Wednesday they are bringing four landing craft & will take out all the cars that want to leave.
We were given priority in all of Cornwall by the council. Apparently it was discussed in a COBRA meeting! How cool is that!? (OK .... not very).
Then there's the little matter of repairing the road - that will probably take months. |

| I have to have an operation on my nose. They're going to drill it out because the septum has grown curved after breaking it playing rugby many years ago, restricting the airway on the right-hand side.
Bit pissed off with operations. That'll be my third one in 18 months. |

| Just watched 2 episodes of NCIS series 10. Brilliant! It is no way mundane. Just thought I would tell you like. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! Four landing craft - I think two cars at a time. They're taking us down to Cotehele from the boatyard in Calstock. That's what we pay our taxes for. (Except nowadays they charge for this sort of thing.) |
