| Once you've survived once, it's all downhill with Ray Mears. Couldn't have been any worse than the Desert Island To the Manor Born fest over the holiday period. Penelope Keith ? not a funny bone in her body. Why did she get a gong when so many didn't ? Was it for her accent ?
PS.. my father boarded at Truro school, Jock. He enjoyed it far more than the ensuing 5 years in Burma. |

| I have no idea who it was but I remember the episode of Desert Island when they had a singer on. Every disc she chose was of her performing. Was that narcissism at its finest or honesty? |

I bet school reunions are interesting. I wonder what methods were used to teach falsetto? Saw Brian May at Manchester Apollo the day before one of my A level exams but never saw Queen. I wish I had the oppurtunity. A big regret for me but p'haps I was too young. I fancied the pants off Roger Taylor. Meanwhile back to Abba on my headfones. |

| Down with the decorations...plus the perk of finding the Lindt chocolate tree decorations that the grandchildren didn't find,... it's tough but someones got to do it. |

| Looked out of the window this morning, Noah like, with a dove ready to fly in search of dry land.
Decided that for the first time in nearly three weeks it could be possible to put a line of washing out ....so towels and tea towels into machine and hey-presto I remembered how to turn the washing machine on......and succeeded to put said washing out on the line.......all smug like.
It's raining again....concerned for safety of dove.
Must search the web....for a good design for a 21st century Noah's Ark.....neighbours may scoff....but they will be concerned when water level reaches above their skirting boards.....I will be able to charge them a small fortune when they come knocking on the door wanting me to rescue them.....I hope they can all swim....concerned about the old fellow at No30 who needs a zimmer frame to get around.
I hope this is just a mundane ramble.....if not the end of the world might be upon us.
I've just remembered....that the rainbow is Gods assurence that the world will not end with another flood.....if I don't tell the Neighbours that they might still pay me for a small corner in my Ark. |

| Lost the lid off of our recycling bin. Hunted up and down the street last night and this morning and there's no sign of it.
Cue the feckin binmen refusing to accept the black bin without a lid and me not recycling anymore. |
