I've nearly done my contracted hours for the whole week, and it's only Wednesday Tuesday.

Is anybody else worried that Alanno hasn't got a toilet?

I bought some chocolate santas (pound shop innit) for the small people. Then I saw some pictures on facebook which featured half unwrapped chocolate santas which looked like (cough) male members. So of course I had to half unwrap the ones I'd bought to check whether they also didn't look like santa. Now there's very little left of either of them.

Still - they didn't know they had them, so I should get away with it.

Extreme child chocolate abuse.

You're not going to 'return' for another 90 years? I think you need to borrow my Joe 90 space suit.

Radio 5 fault

Noticed the date? 11/12/13 is 'noughts and crosses day'

By Plymouth Herald | Posted: December 11, 2013

It will probably pass most of us by without even noticing.

But we won’t see anything like it again for nearly a century.

Today is known as “noughts and crosses day” because of the sequential numbers in today’s date: 11/12/13.

The sequence can be taken one step further if we think of ten minutes past 9am which gives us: 9/10/11/12/13.

There is some controversy over the next time we see a sequential date: some experts say it will be February 1, 2103 (1/2/3) but others claim it will be in 97 years time on September 8, 2110 which gives us 8/9/10

Just for you, POI, I shall go and buy another two on the way to fetch them from school tomorrow and hand them straight over.

(Hardly going to be seen eating a chocolate santa on the bus, now, am I?)

Yup. We formed a new cabal and went off to Butlins for a couple of days. Innit  Cool

In other news, I ended up buying little cupcakes with christmassy icing (four for a pound, Spar) instead of chocolate santas. The eight year old took one little bite and then announced she didn't like the icing. The five year old ate the whole thing and then announced she didn't like the icing.

The wife, two sons and the daughter-in-law has all gone to the university to watch the grand-daughter through out the afternoon performing her ballet and tap shows she is also in a Anna show put on by the musical theatre group.

Myself and my 5 year grand-son are having great time.

Wow, that sounds rather cool to me and not at all mundane. I have always been too tall and 'big' to do that sort of stuff, but my life has always been mundane.

Spot on, hippo. Big stars and stuff to T&G's grand-daughter  flower

And big scowls to T&G himself for posting a non-mundane item  Wink

I also received a telling off from the grand – son today that I burned his dinner (tea to me) and told the returning family that I was on my laptop watching the footy not the dinner.

Ps she will receive extra pocket money on top of the end of term for the hard schoolwork they both have done this term

I get told off by small people regularly. I make them walk too far, don't push them high enough on the swings, talk about stuff like bogies and farting, make them clean their teeth ... I think that's what grown-ups are for nowadays.
